Where did that come from?

Hopefully, the first frame of this is scratching a bit of an itch in the back of your brain. In trying to come up with some different composition for the briefing of the crew, I ended up remembering the briefing in Return of the Jedi. And you know, I kind of like the idea of this internal narrative by the dad (and his pop-culture memories), or our omniscient narrator, or old Method comics, or whomever it is…that is self-referencing pop-culture. So yes, it’s deliberate. I’ll probably try and do it more often, because I like this ouroboros we’re creating…
