They're very similar since both can adapt their powers to necesity, but, you know, depression kills Bob.

So I voted Micky.

They are both mental cases. But I think that Mike's powers grow the longer he is MM, while Bob's mental illness can make him either powerless or completely evil.

I'd like to know if Marvel is going to USE Marvelman in the MU, and if they'll even NEED the Sentry.

I really hope they don't use Marelman in the MU. His backstory wouldn't fit at all

Hopefully they got Kid Miracleman as well.

I agree. I hope they keep it an Icon title or at least allow for a unique setting.

I don't think a team-up fwith Spidey isn't what the bulk of MM fans are looking for.

Wait who the hecks Sentry? is the choice I need.

I know Spider-Man, Hulk, X-Men, Cap, Iron Man, Spider Woman, Nick Fury, Iron Fist, She-Hulk...I even know who Jessica Jones is and the members of NextWave. But Sentry is a new one.

I hope Marvel gets to reprint all the original issues and Neil gets an opportunity to finish the series the way he always intended. Looking forward to this!

I picked Sentry simply because I love the fact that he's also his own greatest enemy, The Void.

That and the fact that I've barely read any Marvelman books.

Yeah, the only way I can be ok with this is if it gets the ICON treatment like Criminal. Please do not make a square peg fit into the round hole.

Also, there is no fight. In the Sentry's mind even he doesn't think he exists. The Sentry could be a decent character if he could just get over his own whiny "oh, I can't be a superhero because my imaginary friend might come back" @$$.

Meanwhile Miracleman just gets the job done. 'Nuff Said.

Might as well throw in all other similar Superman like or flying brick powerset characters too.

Sentry, Marvelman, Adam the Blue Marvel, Gladiator, Hyperion etc...

Interesting - but well both illustrate the axiom about "ultimate power leading to ultimate corruption" as welll as the extreme violence and lack of compasion the two are quite differerent -

One is a serious study of how power corrupts while the other has a tongue and cheek lelement to him about the over the top fanboy. SBP also comments on the meta elements in modern comics.

Would be interested about both Geoff's and Moore's thoughts about this comparison of the two.
