Actually I'm pretty upset right now.

I mean, sheesh, they're the Legion, give them some props, they are super-heroes. I know I should wait for this episode to finish but so far this looks like "oh, well I can't think how to make Clark look heroic without making the people around him LESS heroic"

Last but not least GARTH ISN'T A LOSER. Sheesh, what was with the "I'm going to finish this, for once" line. come on Geoff, you're killing me.

I have other things I need to be doing right now rather than watch Smallville on TV but I'm doing it for the Legion (I lost interest in the show a long time ago) but now you're punking the Legion to make Clark look good? he's Superman, how much do you have to build the guy up.

Of course if the Legion were to all of a sudden kill Lana in the next ten minutes all will be forgiven (I really don't like her character in this show)

Anyways, those three points really hurt my enjoyment of this ep, otherwise I was feeling it. The Persuader parts were cool, I LOVED how the Legion took him out, that's what I was expecting. But then we get the human/alien stuff.

Then it was good again, Garth was funny and certainly likable, Rokk acted like the consummate leader he is, Imra was confident and cool (yay Imra) so that was all good. But then the SPOILER. Highlight below text to read

thing was brought up and I was hoping it was, I dunno, a test, an initiation prank perhaps? But apparently no.

But then Imra talking to Lana was cool, and the fight scene was cool, and I was getting over the original two disappointments, but then the line with Garth, which...was just odd...and...well...

In conclusion the awesome moments were awesome but the not so awesome moments were, well, not so awesome.

But if the Legion were to show up again I'll be there.

Long Live the Legion.

BTW, good casting job, those actors worked for me.

They left the show open by giving him the ring to time travel and fly .Brainiac 5 and Garth getting the base ball was great making him the biggest superman fan beside jimmy .

I was really disappointed by the Legion's willingness to kill Chloe UNTIL I watched the entire episode. Now I've brought myself to the boards to say thank you, Geoff. I haven't watched Smallville in 3 years but you brought me back, at least for tonight, and I loved it!
