Is it just me or do most of the Batman covers (with the limited number of issues I have) have nothing to do what is actually going on in the issue?

Also, for a some what newbie I have noticed with the two Morrison issues I have other than RIP that there are big parts that effect RIP in each one. When does his run start, I would like to get more before the Dr. Hurt thing is totaly revealed. Who supposedly did the killing of the Leauge of heros dud in 668? I wonder if that could be Dr. Hurt?

Since Alex Ross took over covers, basically yes. The Tony Daniel variants do a better job of representing the contents.

Morrison's run starts at #655 and the issues you're talking about, yes, it is Dr Hurt and the Black Glove screwing with the Club of Heroes.

I actually like each covers on offer per issue but if I had to choose it'd have to be Alex Ross's over Tony Daniel (sincerely no disrespect by that statement intended to Mr. Daniel) for I don't know how much longer Ross will be doing covers for the main Batman title and I want to get what he has while his still doing them.
