Where's Willingham??? I would to ask him whether Alan Scott can become more magic and spooky and less boxing-glove-in-the face. For instance, he should appear and disappear by walking through a cloud of green fire, not flying people around in a clear green bubble.

Howdy.

1. Don't read upcoming solicits, or you'll find out for sure.

2. You'll have to ask Willingham that one--I don't know.

3. Check back with me on Natasha.

Thanks for asking!

About King Chimera...

Will we be learning more about King Chimera soon? We know a few things but he still has a lot of mystery on him.

Did any of the characters creation get inspired by Chimera from Team Titans/Bloodlines? (She also had the power to create solid illusions)

Will we find out what the possessed All-American Kid stole from King's locker?

We'll learn a lot about him as All-Stars progresses, including where he's from and why he's such an ass. With respect to Chimera, I have to say no. I basically wanted to just call him "King" and they wouldn't let me, so I tacked the Chimera on the end 'cause it was more or less relavant and it kind of sounded cool. But you'll notice that when people talk to him in All-Stars, they almost always just call him "King".

All of the business between AAK and King should be ironed out in the next issue...

Is Atlee solely Jimmy and Justin's thing, or could we expect to see her make a cameo in All Stars at some point?

Hey, anything's possible. If Jimmy and Justin want to use a cool character, then they're going to have to be okay with someone else poaching it. It's a jungle out there, man.

Willingham keeps his own counsel. As to Alan Scott, I just wrote a scene where I have him hitting Magog with a giant green hammer, so I'm probably the wrong guy to direct your request to!

Thanks for answering me Mr Sturges. In response to you first answered question, I assume, by looking at the cover of JSA ANnual, that Michael a.k.a Mt Terrfic , has survived. if it is so, I am very happy, because he reminds me, respecting all due proportions, of myself: A guy with no superpowers but works the brians out helping the most he can.
It`s good to have a such good example for kids and adults of all ethinicies or religions

Thanks for being such a gentleman and answering the question of this 32 years old comic fan from brazil that collect comics IN ENGLISH since 8 years old.

Very nice to meet you, and if you want/ have time to send me an email

P.S. Do you think Dan Didio would answer one of my questions too? lol

Thank you very much

Well, heck, seeing as it's Magog, I've got no complaints.

Keep up the great work btw - I am enjoying the series a lot.

Hi Matt,

I enjoyed the recent 80-Page Giant. Maxine seemed to play decent roles in all the stories and it got me wondering about her origin. In the last JSA/JLA team-up Geoff hinted at an origin that involved T.O. Morrow and possibly the android Red Tornado. Will we be seeing any of that play out in the near future?

Also I was a fan of Primal Force when it had it's brief run. Johnny Thunder's son Willpower first showed up there. I had always hoped to see him appear in the pages of the JSA but he has yet to pop up. Seeing that he is a guy that can turn himself into magical lightning and willpower seems to be a big thing in the DCU now it seems like it would be a great time for him to return. So any chance?

Thanks!

So, Matt...is Jesse going to be Liberty Belle or go back to being Jesse quick again?

Matt, when you look at all the characters, what bands or songs do you associate with them?

Matt - you have been kindly answering our questions, so thanks.

I have finally just started reading Gladiator (by Philip Wylie) and it got me thinking that it would be cool to see Iron Munro again - given Damage's involvement in JSA All Stars and their past associations (eg undetermined fatherhood; Freedom Fighters etc), is there any chance we will seen Arn Munro any time soon?

You are giving us the Red Circle DC - how about some archive editions to accompany them?

Cyclone's origin is definitely something I want to flesh out some more. Hopefully I can get to that story sooner rather than later.

re: Willpower. I suppose anything's possible...

Despite the nifty costume she's sporting in that most recent Flash:Rebirth, I'm pretty sure she's staying Liberty Belle into the foreseeable future.

This is a really interesting question. I must ponder this; I think it could be a really useful writing tool. The truth is I never thought about the characters in those terms before.

Hmmmm!
