Default Astonishing X-Men: Ghost Boxes #1 is a rip off!

16 pages of story for $3.99?!? The rest is just pages of Ellis' script with sketches. Avoid this mini at all costs and wait for #28 to come out.

I've thought this since it was solicited. Why couldn't this have been worked into the regular series? It kind of turned me off from the beginning.

I keep getting Astonishing Xmen pulled for me at the store, even though I said I only wanted the Whedon/Cassady run. I made sure to slyly put it back on the wall, and now I'm especially glad I did. I read Ellis's issue 26 and just couldn't get into the story, although I admit its mostly because the art is just not my cup of tea

This was in my pullbox and I thought that it was the newest issue. Glad I took a closer look. I have started putting my items in order based on cost. I doubt that I would have caught it had I not done so!

I am making hard decisions based on the $3.99 price point. If this is the future of Marvel, count me out.

Issue #2 was waaay better than issue #1. I agree the price point is a rip off considering the amount of story pages. I bought it without flipping through it.
