Queen & Country (NOT canceled!)

Did Oni cancel Queen & Country? According to The Diamond Previews Order Form, they cancelled #32. Has anyone heard anything??

I can't imagine they'd cancel it mid-arc...

For what it's worth, Greg has made it known on earlier threads here that the work he's doing for DC has beat his schedule to a pulp, and #32 had been pushed back because of it. My hunch is that Oni cancelled the initial orders and will re-solicit it when Greg and Chris can get it done.

But we'll wait for confirmation from The Man.

Well, that's a relief. I don't mind waiting, as long as I know it'll come out eventually. It can be late. Just, you know, not Kevin Smith late...

Don't sweat it, Greg. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Do you have plans past the end of this arc? I seem to recall reading prior to the publication of the PRIVATE WARS that this would wrap Volume 1 of Q&C, you had plans for some DECLASSIFIED (of which V2 and V3 seemed to be part), and then you were thinking about starting a Volume 2 of the main title, with things moved along somewhat in the lives of our friends at SIS...

Are rumors of a 3rd Queen & Country novel accurate? IF you can confirm... I understand if you can't because of those pesky contract thingys.

A while back in another thread, Greg mentioned he was working on 3 novels.

They were:

Perfect Dark (since released), Patriot Acts, and an untitled Q&C novel. So that shoult make you happy to know.

I AM thrilled by more Q&C, in any format/permutation, as long as Greg is involved. I DO have a bone to pick with the publisher, because novel 1 and novel 2 are different sizes! (O, the humanity!!)

The 3rd Q&C novel is in the pipeline; the question as to when it'll be written and released is something else. I'm still trying to figure out what to follow Patriot Acts with, and I suspect it'll either be Q&C #3 or a new project entirely.

For the comics...that's wait and see. I'm discussing numerous projects and possibilities with Oni, most of which won't be announced until the middle or end of the summer.
