Thumbs up Green Lantern Corps #7!!!!!

Ah....

Inhale. Exhale.

Now THIS is more like it!! This is what I expect when I open up an issue of GLC every month. This is MY Guy Gardner. This is how he should be written and definitely how he should be drawn.

Basically, Guy and rookie Lantern R'amey Holl have been dispatched to an ice planet on a secret mission for the Guardians, to recruit a former Lantern that no one knows exists. The threat: the possible extermination of the entie Dominator race.

Get ready for a wild ride and one of the best Guy Gardner quotes of all time.

"Heh. I think my nipples just got hard." ROFLMAO. Pitch perfect Guy Gardner.

And we learn some new things about the Corps. Apparently there's a leaner, meaner division of the Corps than even the Honor Guard. The GL Corpse.

Man, I can't wait to read next issue and see what Gleason's ultimate Dominator looks like. If I could make the official big to DC right now, PLEASE let Keith Champagne stay on as the full time writer of GLC. No disrespect to Dave Gibbons who has done a wonderful job but I think Keith knocked this out of the park and delivered EVERYTHING that a GLC book should contain.

This was a five out of five stars from this Bloccer. Highly recommended. If you left GLC at all during the past 3 issues, get your butts back here.

This is where the party's at.

DoE
warning: spoilers. maybe.

Believe it or not, I LOVE COMICS!!! and it's only hard to tell because I know that they can be and SHOULD BE better.

I loved this issue. The end with the Corpse lantern had me freaking out. I always wanted tp see a covert GL squad. Now there is one.

I was wondering if the many vocal Guy fans around here could accept Champagne's Guy. I'm glad to see you liked it.

Personally, I loved this issue. While, I did like the GLC mini, the ongoing has been dragging. This one issue has one juice in it than all the previous before it.

Man, it's so nice to see Durlans, Khunds, and Dominators again. Thank you for giving us some cosmic goodness, DC!

I can't wait for the rest of the arc!

Gleason was born to draw Guy Gardner. And wicked aliens. And monsters. And weird planets. And Green Lanterns....

This was the sci-fi vibe, the humor over the darker backdrop the series missed more than hit the last few months, or maybe as far back as Recharge.

My favorite moment was Guy blasting away before he got to the end of his countdown.

Very solid issue. Nice color work (again) Moose.

I must pick this up I thought it was the next issue with the new team of Champagne and Gleason. Are they permanent?

This is awesome. Probably the best book of the series so far...(sorry dave). I always thought Guy would have been perfect for this kind of role in the GLC and was surprised when he didn't go this direction when I first saw this series. R'amey was an interesting choice. I'm hoping to see a tad more character developement.

Probably my favorite issue this week.

Patrick Gleason Artwork=Pure joy

This issue delivers on every level. That Von Daggle is a real badass. I think Guy could learn a lot from him in the ways of stealth and cunning. Even without a ring, this guy is a Force.

GLC #7 was simply...sensational. The cover was mindbogglingly creepy and cool all at the same time. Gleason's art was gorgeous, and Mr. Champagne's story was fabulous. The new characters were interesting, Guy was...Guy, and the plot is very very intriguing. This is the best it has been since "Recharge", and I'm already dying for the next issue.

This issue was absolutely brilliant! Keith, I love you as an inker, but I love you more as a writer! I am really into this story, there was so much to take in! The art looked great too! The ending information really made me excited! The dark side of the corps, whoo! Excellent writing Mr C.

I just finished reading GLC #7 and what a kick butt issue!!!! This was Guy on Tee. Smart one liners. The Corpse another new nugget in GLC mythology!!! I like Champagnes' characterazation of Guys attitude, coolness and determination. Gleason must stay on GLC. Moose it isn't a GL related till Moose adds color.
This is a 4.5 out of 5 issue. It had a Babylon 5 feeling to it. This is a must pick up for all GL fans. The Rann Than thing got too draggy and I hope this new Dominator and GLCorpse brings a new saga into the GLU.
