It IS a great book. It's what I was hoping New Invaders would be like (which I enjoyed, but not like this).

I really hope Marvel does a follow up series or an ongoing, 'cos this has the potential to be their "response" to DC's JSA.

Gail, I'm glad your enjoying it because this is a SUPERB book (bring on issue #2, and I can't wait til #4) this is an excellent mini . I wouldn't mind up a follow up mini and i'm glad to see Marvel respecting their older characters (with this AND another Golden Age project in the works)

Cheers.

James.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.

This mini-series is also one of the most fun projects I have ever had the chance to draw.

I had one of those moments a few weeks ago. One of those "I'm drawing a talking gorilla wearing a pork pie hat and checkered shirt driving a 1958 Edsel through San Francisco with a goddess, a robot, a guy in a space suit, a shield operative and a rejuvinated 90 year old FBI agent as his passengers.... AND I'M GETTING PAID FOR IT!!" moments.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

I gotta agree... fantastic first issue!

I've been waiting for Marvel to re-visit some of their Golden Age creations!

My LCS had some copies of #1 left on the shelf today, but were sold out of #2 by the time I got there. Thank goodness I added it to my pull list.

This mini has been outstanding. Jeff and Leonard are really doing an amazing job with these characters and the final page of both issues just make me want to read the next issue even more.
