Maybe he's the one behind the collapse of The Speed Force. He's had a long time to plan something big like that.

Oh, he's also going to be on Titans East too, apparently. That's going to be interesting.

Yeah - that's great - can't wait for him to re-appear!! Definitely good new...man, what a day -- first Ben Reilly might re-emerge from the dead and now Inertia...awesome!

Inertia wears green and has Blonde hair and was the same age as Bart.

Just like someone else in the current book..

Is Inertia and Griffen the same person, I don't think so, but still cool news about Inertia.

Cool. Of course, they didn't specifiy that it was the same as the previous Inertia, he could just be a pretender to the title.

While Griffin might be a NEW Inertia, the chances of him being the OLD Inertia are pretty slim, since the old one was a CLONE of Bart (ie identical aside from the hair), and was a much smarter and more driven person than Griffin is (much like emoBart, actually. An EmoBart Thawne would make much more sense than an emoBart Allen).

You know this does make me wonder...could the more "adult" and different Bart really be Inertia with a dye job?

Or maybe he, like Eobard Thawne in "Return of Barry Allen" could simply be under the delusion he's really Bart?

Would tend to explain a quite abit about the "new" Bart.

It's crazy, but it just might work. At the same time, though, that's an awfully risky way to start a new book.

Please, these guys passed "risky" before they even put pen to paper. Anything could happen at this point, and almost anything would be more reasonable than what we have now.

I would love to have emoBart turn out to be Thadeus, or a solidified speedforce clone, or anything other than Bart Allen, and for the REAL Bart (age 15-16) to come back to kick his @$$, but I doubt we'll be that lucky. It would still result in a horrible first arc, but at least there'd be hope for the following arcs.

In all honesty, if the Flash team pulled a rabbit like this out of their hat, I'd officially eat every bad word I've said about the book. That would be one heck of a plot twist, and would goo miles to explain why Bart feels so off.

I agree.

It would make me glad I've stayed neutral on this.

And have Bart or Wally or heck even Barry come back from where ever they are to "make things right". That would be a kick butt way to have started the new series.

And y'know Didio did say not to get attached to the first Flash you see.........

Makes sense in a wickedly, twisted sort of way....
