Its about time Wonder Woman and her rogues got this kind of treatment. I just hope DC doesn't go back to the same old dull directionless storytelling that has mired the character for years once this arc is done.

Oh yeah and i hope Diana kicks the tar outta Donna in issue five and takes back her mantle.

pant, pant, pant...This sounds so cool. The wonder woman villians have needed a shot in the arm for quite some time. I love what is happening with them. I just hope Diana returns to the role of Wonder Woman.

I concur. I love whats going on with the villains at the moment. I mean who knew that it was possible to actually take Giganta, I'm sorry I'm sorry Dr Zeul, seriously. Its freaking amazing!

Just so long as Diana gets back in the driving seat eventually I'm as a happy as a clam ^___^.

Well, I'll certainly give it a chance, but just bringing in truckloads of 'revamped' villains in bunches is, in my opinion, precisely what he should NOT be doing. These guys need to stand on their own to be credible threats and to be introduced in stories crafted to display them to full advantage, not just re-introduced in handfuls just to get it done and over with.

And, I hate to say it, but I'm cringing at the notion of a Heinberg Doctor Poison.

I agree 100%. I also don't see the point of re-introducting Osira when we have Circe. I think she covers the ancient sorceress bit quite well on her own.

I see what you are saying but Heinberg does seem to be going somewhere with this (someone is organising the villains and boosting their powers for a reason) so i'm willing to give him a chance.

Its hard to judge the man one one arc... part of his mission statement is obviously to revamp the entire rogues gallery and unfortunately cos he only has five issues to work with he has to cram a lot of villains in there... if his run continues after the initial five (he did state a couple of weeks back that the plan was for him to oversee the title and work on every other arc or so with guest writers filling in between his issues) then i'm sure he will ease off on the villains. Its just that the man has a LOT to do and not a lot of time or space to do it in.

I wish people would lighten up a wee bit tho... for the first time in decades we are getting a Wonder Woman title that actually embraces the character and her history... i can't believe some Wonder Woman fans are unhappy with that.

Variety is the spice of life. Plus Osira was an interesting villain in different ways than Circe. Its like saying why have Wonder Woman when we already have Superman.

I don't mind the villain revamps. I just want Diana back.

And I'm also wondering whether Circe is even available since DC's new push seems to be to eliminate as much mythology from Wonder Woman as possible.

I just love the way the Dodsons are recreating WW's villains.
She's perfectly depicted as the witch-bitch that we all love.
