Dude, I've got issues I want to discuss with Geoff too, but the PAD Supergirl has been missing for years. Let it slide. I'm pretty sure there wasn't even a PAD Supergirl reference in IC. If you miss Linda so much, go check out PAD's Fallen Angel.

Yes, I know she has been gone for a while but the series was so great and she was an amazing character. I do not want her to be brought back by another writer but I would like to have her existence acknowledged.

I'm looking forward to the new Flash title (with some trepidation) and have fond memories of my Waid/Johns run.

I have my Cary Bates Barry-Flash run.

I'd say I'm taking it in stride. No WHEAT type groups. No posting a gazillion times about my anger at the new statis quo.

I'm on to the next phase.

Heck, if Barry's title didn't regretably end, would I have gotten Waid or Johns on Wally's adventures?

It's just stories that are in my home so I can visit them as often as I want!

The difference between what you are saying and me is that all of the flashes still exist. And I actually do read the current Supergirl series. I am fine with her being the only Supergirl currently, I just want PADs Supergirl to have happened.

Yeah, this is a real slap in the face to long-time fans of the character. Peter David's Supergirl mythos was deep and well-crafted, and Linda has so far been the only interesting Supergirl since 1986, if not before. I loved Infinite Crisis, but it seems like this (and the re-addition of young Clark Kent as Superboy) is one of the very few pointless, negative changes. It's one thing to simply stop referencing the character's existence, but to officially remove her from history? That's bad form. Tom Foss
