Default TT #30/#31 dates moved w/a message from Geoff 12 posts down...

ARGH!!!!

According to their website today, DC has moved back the release dates of Teen Titans #30 and #31.

Teen Titans #30 is now scheduled for December 14.
http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?cm=4444

Teen Titans #31 is now scheduled for December 28
http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?cm=4613

And they can't afford to get too far behind now, because the One Year Later jump is coming up very fast now.

I read elsewhere that the reason for the original delay on TT #30 was printer scheduling (all the pages have long since been handed in by Tony Daniel, so unless there's some last minute changes I don't think it's the artist). But now its been pushed back yet another two weeks. GRUMBLE!!!

So we get Teen Titans twice in December. It's all good. If they come out in this timeframe, I don't think it will after the One Year Later.

Yeah, i saw that and came here to se why. Any idea as to why? i was really looking forward to 2 comics back to back. WHen Liefield was late, it was yeah now we get 29 and 30 the next month back to back. Then they pushed both of um back and now there doing it again. Can't they just pick a date already!!?!?!?! Like you said, at least we know it'll be out before febuary. ........Hey, maybe it's so events/sequence makes sense.

TT #30 was originally scheduled for Nov. 16. That got changed to Nov. 23 because of the month delay on TT #28, then Nov. 30 because of the printers. Now another two weeks have been added. I don't know, maybe the printers again?

Any chance someone in the know might be able to clear this one up for us?

ACK if this keeps up it will become DC's version of "Iron Man" or "Secret Wars". Weeks becomes months....

Poor form, DC.

I was really looking forward to a Titans double fix this month.

Well, now it looks like we'll have to wait until NEXT month for our double fix. I don't mind the wait, as long as it's for good, quality work.

Yeah, the new trade is still scheduled for November 30. So, we will get a double fix of a sorts. Just not with all new material.

I'm just glad that they're coming out! So many titles (Zatanna, Superman/Batman, Frankenstein, Matador, Supergirl, Wraithborn, All Star Superman (issue 2 may be delayed till january), and All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder) are still unaccounted for or are late by a week or so that it's nice we're finally getting at least one book from DC back on a regular schedule.

Well, issues 30 and 31 are finished and we're starting on #34...our ONE YEAR LATER. You want surprises, mystery, action, rivalry, romance and above all, adventures with the Titans that will keep you guessing?

Our job is to make this the most talked about team book on the market. With a concentration on character, twists and turns and introducing new and revamped ideas into the DCU. It's going to be a very different book. A truly new direction. Two characters who have never appeared in DCU yet have interacted with many DCU characters will appear in our first issue. As will familiar, brand new and altered faces.

It's going to be fun!

Thanks for sticking around.

Geoff

Actually, Static and Gear would fit that description very well. Although I'd been under the impression DC wasn't interested in licensing them.
