Default Dr. Strangefate

George Khoury writes about Dr. Strangefate, which is really one of my favorite projects ever (thanks to Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez and Kevin Nowlan):

The original for that last page hangs in my office.

Great article, I remember that was our favorite Amalgam book at Diamond Tampa.

Ah how I miss Amalgam. They should use Access more fire up a crossover for him.

Amalgam was full of hits and misses, but the hits (including Strangefate) were really good.

I still have this book kicking around somewhere, and a bunch of the other first and second year Amalgams. I'm going to have to dig them out and reread em, it's been years.

Dr. Strangefate was my fav. oneshot out of all the Amalgum books (both waves) wierd since at the time i didn't care about Dr. Fate or Dr. Strange so the Amalgamtion of the two shouldn't have hooked me so well. Yet it did

Yeah DC and marvel should kiss and make up and come out with an Amalgam monthly

That would top the charts; rotating story arcs by Geoff Jones and Mark Millar with Jim Lee and Brien Hitch on art.
