Default Boston Comic Con w/ Bernie Wrightson, Peter Laird & more Nov. 2nd

Join Us On November 2nd For The 4th Boston Comic Con!

Just after Halloween, the Boston Comic Con returns on November 2nd! We are pleased to announce a pair of great special guests: Bernie Wrightson and Peter Laird! Better yet, Peter Laird will be accompanied by the entire Mirage Studios creative team!

Just Announced: Special Guest Bernie Wrightson!

What better time than Halloween weekend to welcome one of the greatest living horror comic artists in the world. We are terrifyingly happy to present the master of macabre himself Bernie Wrightson. Wrightson, who is perhaps best known by many comic fans for his creation of Swamp Thing with Len Wein, and his stints on magazines like Heavy Metal, Eerie, and Creepy, went on to develop himself as a master of adapting stories by Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Mary Shelly, and Stephen King.

Despite a career built on beautiful depictions of monsters, madmen, and terror, he is also quite friendly and well, just a really nice guy. Without a doubt, Bernie Wrightson is a true legend!

Boston Comic Con Welcomes Peter Laird And Mirage Studios!

In the 1980's, no comic book turned the comic world on its collective ear like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Originally intended as a parody, it took on a life of its own spanning an unbelievable line of toys, movies, and cartoons featuring a team of mutant turtles named Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello. We are pleased to announce as our special guest, Peter Laird, co-creator of this continuing phenomenon.

Not only is Peter Laird attending, but he will be accompanied by his whole creative team at Mirage Studios. Mike Dooney, Jim Lawson, Eric Talbot, Dan Berger, Steve Lavigne, and Steve Murphy have all contributed to making the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles not just another superhero teams, but pop culture icons.

Come meet Peter and the Mirage Studios players as they make their first visit to the Boston Comic Con! Cowabunga!

Billy Tucci Attends the Boston Comic Con!

Working from a one bedroom apartment in 1994, Billy Tucci self-published the phenomenally successful comic property Shi. At times outselling Batman and Superman, over 4 million Shi comics have been sold worldwide along with a vast array of related merchandise. Shi is an industry superstar that has additionally produced many blockbuster cross-over projects with some of the most well known Marvel and independent characters including Daredevil, Witchblade, and Wolverine of X-Men fame.

Tucci is currently working on the highly anticipated new Sgt. Rock: The Last Battalion mini-series for DC Comics, for which he traveled to Normandy and Vosges to do research. It has been far too many years since Billy's last appearance in Boston. Welcome back!

The Boston Comic Con hosts over 13,000 square feet of vendors selling comic books, toys, posters, and other comic book related memorabilia.
