Johnny Thunder would be so cool. Or Jakeem. I'm not picky on this one.

It would be expensive to do, but if they can have wraiths appear from the Phantom Zone I think they could do it.

Or using Starman would give them an idea of how the character would do on TV.

Won't happen. First off, producers wouldn't want to have him one way on Smallville and then have him possibly be different in a TV series or movie. Second, they haven't had Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel or Green Lantern on Smallville for this exact reason.

What about Green Arrow? Isn't there an origin movie and Supermax up for consideration? And didn't they do it for Aquaman?

I guess with smaller characters they may be more flexible but not with bigger ones. So I imagine that Starman could still be a possibility.

As far as I know, Supermax has been proposed but not greenlit. (no pun intended...maybe) For all we know, the Aquaman pilot was scrapped because of bigger plans.

Ultimately though, Starman can't go on without James Robinson's approval.

First off, let me say that this is my first post. I've lurked for many years, but finally decided to join. I hope to stay for a while.

Anyways, I can't wait for Society! It's going to be freakin' amazing. Legion was spectacular. I'm hoping for some great characters to appear.

Thanks Geoff!

I guess, when you think about it, there can't really be a Jay Garrick. Remember the first episode with Bart, he had 3 fake IDs: Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West. I guess Bart is the only Flash in the Smallville universe (not that I have any problem with that).

If based on the original concept of the JSA and you wanted to be 'CGI friendly' you'd have to involve those who may appear somewhat normal but obviously aren't like Charles McNider, Al Pratt and maybe Ted Grant showing Clark a few pointers on how to really fight (and to make a passing nod to Zatanna who appeared before since her father Zatara gave him his '9 lives' powers). Rex Tyler could be fun as would the one and only Johnny Thunder.

Also on the Flash issue...is there's a chance another speedster beside him can be used...like Johnny Quick or better, Jesse Quick or even Max Mercury? In any event' we'll have to wait and see what Master Geoff has up his sleeves.

Hippolyta would be cool. She's already had a mention on the show.
Mr. Terrific, Michael Holt, would rock.
Power Girl!!!
Wildcat definitely
Stargirl is a must
Jack Knight would be awesome too.

Would be cool, if they could have either Geoff or Roy Thomas do a small cameo in the episode!

No Alan or Jay! But they Are the Society!

It depends on how Geoff chooses to play the JSA. if he goes the direction of an "old boys club" of crime fighters/super powers, then I reckon it should be Wild Cat, Hourman, Starman, Mr Terrific, Dr Midnite.

Someone said previously that it couldnt be brought in as such because of continuity of the show not having a WWII team known. But O think Geoff could use the JSA as support for Clarks desire of a secret identity. If the society is played as heroes who have been working for decades, undetected with secret identities, then this would help Clark realise that a secret identity could work in helping his loved ones, which seems to be a real sticking point in the series at present.

Yeah, the only problem is that the WB movie department, wants to make a Wonder Woman movie, which has made Diana off limits to Smallville and possibly Hippolyta too. However, it would still be cool to have Hippolyta included, if by some miracle, Geoff could be allowed to use her. However, if they do, I'm hoping they'll give her a new costume. I've always found it strange that the princess or queen of Themyscira (another nation), would decide to wear a costume based on the American flag, rather then something to symbolice their own nation. Personally, I liked the two outfits, worn by the Earth-22 Diana in Justice Society of America#22, I'd love for Hippolyta to wear something like that.

I would love to see these guys in the episode:

Sandman (Wes or Sandy will work)
Dr. Midnite (Charles McNider all the way)
Wildcat (Senior of course)
Hawkman (the coolest character if they show him)
Atom (Al would make a great guest star)

Dr. Fate (Kent Nelson)
Obsidian
Power Girl (Karen Starr, however, she could only work, if Geoff didn't use the multiverse origin, or her background would be too complex for one episode)
Hourman (Rick Tyler)
Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders, I always liked her better then Hawkman)
Sandman (Sandy)
Damage (Grant Emerson)
Starman (Thom Kallor, it'd be a nice tie in to Geoff's previous episode)

Of course, Kendra might be a little difficult to make, due to budget. Unless, they'd take away the artificial wings all together and simply have her fly as a result of nth metal belt, that the Smallville version doesn't require the artificial wings for the flight itself. However, I'm not sure on how that would be recieved by fans (not even sure, how I'd react). I don't really wanna speculate, and I'd prefer to see the wings stay, but looking at previous adaptations from the comics to Smallville, that would probably be the road they'll take.
