For me, this will all depend on which line up they use. I really don't want to see a more modern take of the team be used for the film.

As good as Remender's UXF stories were, that team wasn't really X-Force, but X-Men rather. X-Force to me is Cable with big guns!

And Domino, and some of the New Mutant legacies.

With time travel in the upcoming X-Men movie, it would be a big miss not to tie a time travelling Cable in, even if only in cameo.

The new 52 - probably not for me...

Oh yeah, Dom, 'Berto and Sam are equally as important as Shatty, Rahne, Boom Boom, and Richtor!

I must confess as a long term New Mutants fan, I'll be a bit disappointed if it is the Liefeld versions of Sam, 'Berto and Rahne that squeak to the screen instead of the original versions of the characters.

agree...however since it's an X-Force movie I think we are going to get something closer to Liefeld's versions.

Either way I'm happy they are exploring the idea of using these characters.

Considering X-Force is the only chance of those characters being in the movies, I'm good with the X-Force versions of the characters.

Eh...one of the producers mentioned the possibility of a New Mutants movie as a possibility along with X-Force and X-Factor, I believe. Sometime last year when the First Class sequel was being discussed.

Anyhow I have no real connection or affection to Liefeld's work on this title. I can understand wanting to get Cable & co on film (they've been immensely popular) and its not like the X-Movies have been particularly faithful to the cannon of the comics, so we might get Cable, Domino, Boom-Boom, Skids, Maggot, Tarot, Doug Ramsey, Warlock and Marrow as X-Force with a cameo by Wolverine....

Just how big will Fox's second team of Marvel Comics' mutants be? Creative consultant (and Kick-Ass creator) Mark Millar may have spilled the beans in a recent interview.

so 5 huh

even though I would love to see a original New Mutants line up that's not gonna happen

I'm thinking Cable, Domino, Warpath, Shatterstar, Cannonball

To be honest though part of me thinks they may use a character like Forge for his tech abilities. But I guess we will see.

As long as Shatterstar is in it, I'm good.
