Wasn't the Eel in the pirate Deathstroke scene that opened up Flashpoint #2?

Is... is that a reference to Bucky O'Hare?

I Lava Man with a name would make for a good villain, maybe a king or despot of sorts.... no sense in every Aquaman villain being sea creature themed LOL

I believe that would be "Lava Lord." Haha.

Sgt. Frog, actually. But it's apparently a more common trope than I suspected.

Man.... it's been over a decade since I've seen anybody mention Bucky O'Hare. LOL Hell I'm surprised I remember anything about it, but c'mon.... he was a green rabbit fighting space aliens!

Aquaman has some decent rogues, more than enough to make a decent gallery from with a few new additions. Let's see what we have so far....

Ocean Master
Black Manta
Scavenger
the Eel
Lava Lord
Noble
King Shark [or the Shark, either one really]

Would anybody be up for a retooled Thirst? I know his powers would be a lot similar to the Eel's, but you could limit it to him JUST draining people of their body's fluids. Throw in some magical stuff and BAM! another great Geoffconned villain.

I also think that weird looking Atlantian sorcerer could return. And maybe the guy who commanded the piranhas to eat Arthur's hand.

If Geoff goes by the same formula he did when he wrote the Flash [for every 2 established villains he must create 1] and added a handful of new villains I think Aquaman will have a lot going for him come September!

I completely hated the Thirst run, so it would take a lot to get that taste out of my mouth, but you pose an interesting retooling.

I never cared for the character that they set up...but, at the same time, I always thought that dessication was a cool power, perfectly suited to an Aquaman villain.

Don't leave Qwsp off the list!

Batman's imp is a loopy fan. Superman's imp is a mean-spirited trickster. Aquaman's imp is a truly evil psychopath. That has loads of story potential.

Fisherman!
I just think he looks cool.
I'm hoping Geoff comes up with some good original villains.
King Shark is always good too.
