Now that they have made an r rated comic book hero movie , can they make a G rated one can they do it with out the crutches of cursing and sex ?

Even Incredibles is PG. personally I think it would be next to impossible to make a G rated one with the rules involved with a G

I'd agree with the modern "G" rating that seems to take almost any action or scary scene as a PG stamp.

I'm amazed they actually went through with the R, but a G? that's a death knell for any superhero movie. Heck, DC fantrolls (not normal fans, just the overly zealous ones) decry Marvel movies as they are NOW for being too "kiddie" so you know a "G" rating would just push them over the edge.

A Power Pack live action movie or an animated movie seems like a no brainer to pull in a younger crowd. It could really work well with a G rating........plus I really want to see Power Pack back in some form

But PG does seem to be the default rating for most things these days.

There's been an R-rated superhero movie for 18 years now - it's called Blade and it was awesome.

There's some X-rated ones too, but I don't know anyone who was able to sit through "Bedman and Throbin"

From what I can remember the Dolph Lundgren Punisher movie in the 80's was R rated. So that kind of beats Blade.

But I can understand if no one wants to count that move.
