Default Death of Wolverine

I found a vendor at New York Comic Con who is selling some pretty cool-looking "Canadian" variant covers for the Death of Wolverine mini-series. I think I'm going to buy them but I wanted to know from you all if this has been an enjoyable series.

Yay or nay?

I've been enjoying it.
That's also a cool cover.

so far it's been good. I may be behind as I've only read 2 issues. I only get books monthly through the mail.

To Darth: In some scene's McNiven's Logan kind of reminds me of Danzig. I don't know if he was an inspiration (since at one point he was rumored to play the ol' Canucklehead) but it would be cool if he was.

Aha, I've noticed that too.
I wouldn't be surprised honestly.

And he actually was offered the role. (Pre-Singer though)
They came to him with an offer and everything.
He was too busy on his Satan's Child tour though.

I'm glad that never went through.
After seeing him in Prophecy II he needs to stay away from acting.

I'm enjoying the art but to me after three issues the story hasn't really started rolling yet. It's still in set up mode. And for me...

SPOILER. Highlight below text to read
Logan losing his healing factor is an incredibly overused plot device.

I'm thinking this will read better as a trade. To compare, Old Man Logan kept my interest with each issue.

I really do not think that this is going to last (which is ultimately the best way to alienate fans by having such an outlandish story line that ends up 'going nowhere' in a reboot. However, for what it is, I believe it is incredibly well done and I really enjoy it so far. Seems to be the consensus here and most other Marvel boards.
