Default Quick DC 52 Poll - 4 months in

I'm just curious, since this was a core traditional base for DC before the switch.

Are you reading MORE DC Titles than before the new 52 switch, LESS DC Titles, or the approx. the SAME.

I think the key comparison point would right before the pre-flashpoint implosion (where we lost Doom Patrol, REBELS, Outsiders, etc).

Getting way more after New 52. About 49% more items, for less money.

Prior to Aug 31, the last month before New 52, I spent $140.58 on 43 DC items, many of which were trades, one of which was the expensive New Teen Titans Omnibus. Also I did not count JLA#1 which I spent $2 on because that's New DCU, and it was the only thing DC put out on Aug 31.

In December, I spent $131.82 for 64 items published by DC, only a few of which were reprinted material.

I know it's not really apples and apples because before I was trade waiting stuff and now I'm not as much so the "items" are not equivalent. But it still feels like more for less to me.

I'm reading more stories about way more characters now, and I'm getting the comics as they come out. Not months later when no one is talking about them.

The main reason I can afford to do this is that DCBS still has that "buy all the 52 for 50% off" sale going. Once that ends, I'll start having to cut books.

Also I jumped on really with Flashpoint. Before that I was getting a lot less DC.

More. I don't know the exact numbers but even after the books I dropped I am probably still reading 10 more monthlies than I was from DC.
Looking to trade my single issues for the trade paperbacks. Inbox me if interested. Green Lantern, JSA, Avengers and many DC & Marvel books.

More. And i'm sadly not getting 50% off either! I was assuming would have cut more than I have but I am still getting...44 of the 52, 6 limiteds plus some Vertigo. Not sure how many I was getting before, probably 30 ish?

I went from DC being my biggest draw at 11 or 12 books a month to now 2 books a month. It is one of my smallest draws now. I buy 8 IDW, 9 Marvel, 3 Image, 1 Dynamite, and 1 Cartoon Books titles.

I was buying just 4 books before the relaunch and now I'm buying Flash, Captain Atom, OMAC, the GL books, Stormwatch, JLDark, Demon Knights, TT, RH&TO, Animal Man, Swamp Thing and the 3 anthology books.

Everything else just wasn't my cup of tea.

I'm down to 4 titles from 15-20 prior.

Wolfman/Perez era of NTT is what hooked me and that kind of storytelling is far and few between with DC these past few years. Wally, Garth and Donna being gone makes it easy for me not to buy into this "new" DC.

More, but only a little more. Hopefully "wave 2" will have some titles that suit my tastes, if DC ever actually gets around to rolling it out.
