Default Manhunter Lantern?

Has there ever been an instance where a Manhunter robot stole/acquired a GL ring?

Its been awhile since I've read Millenium so I don't remember if it happened there.

I know there was a Manhunter GL in Circle of Fire, but it didn't look like a regular Manhunter.

And there was the Manhunter 2.0 story from the beginning of Winick's run, but I can't remember if they ever got the ring working or not.

I'm not sure about a Manhunter Robot with a ring, but any Manhunter? Hmm...

Kate with a GL Ring... hmm...

Is this Millenium the one with the New Guardians that showed up shortly after Crisis, or something else? Also, is Circle of Fire worth getting?

Is it even possible for a Manhunter to use the ring?

Yeah that's the Millenium I'm talking about. And, IMO, you're not missing much without having read Circle of Fire.

Circle of Fire did have some great Power Girl art in her JLI suit.

Stel was a robotic GL, if I recall correctly, so a robotic Manhunter probably COULD use the ring (unless the Guardians put some kind of failsafe on them --which they might have).

In a couple of issues with Kyle, there were some Manhunter robots that took his ring and made it to where they could "use" it. However because they are robots and have no will, they were not able to use the ring correctly.

Well...if there is a planet where they live....and they adhere to the code...I see that giving one a ring might be logical.

Man, I would hate to be the GLs in that sector. Although considering that the Manhunter homeworld's location is unknown it probably isn't too much of a problem... yet.

Correct. That was the story that introduced Terry Berg, and it came right before the introduction of Nero. It was Winick's first arc if I remember correctly.

i wonder i there was manhunter who did not rebel against the guardians .
on a related note, it seems a way for manhunters to get money is to rent themselves out as bountyhunters . they would still have that programming built in them.

Did a Manhunter not have a Lantern (can't remember if there was a ring) in the 80 Page Giant #3?

The Manhunter of that story carried a gun and a lantern. The original Manhunters were issued guns by the Guardians before the green lantern rings were created for sentient species. The lantern is what charged the gun.

Kate with a G.L ring would be dag scary (I know that's not the Manhunter you were thinking of, but still), Mar Shaw with one would be as bad (for the DCU villains!)

Cheers.

James.
