I'm bummed to hear that Bilson and Demeo are leaving...the new Flash has been an awesome series so far.

But, I'll probably give #9 a try as well and keep my open mind for that as well.

And we'd still have 8 characters, which is too many.

I want Bart back on the team as well. I don't care if someone leaves or not; I agree that eight a few too many for my liking, but at the same time I feel that if we've got eight, adding one more wouldn't be that big of a deal. Especially if that character is a particular favorite of mine!

Besides, the JLA (the other option) will have eleven members soon, so...

I like Bart as an adult. But I doubt he'll join the JLA. They'll have their secret member and Brad's going to introduce that person in another arc. Why add him via Bart's own book?

I think he'll join neither team, that's the hint I took from it. Not honouring history or legacy.....

Bart can join the Titans and Cyborg can Join the JLA it works out and Bart is fine as the Flash, I do want Wally to come back but I don't want Bart to get deaged or reverted back to Kid Flash or Impulse.

It's not like Bart desperately needs a team right now. He already has a sizable supporting cast.

Plus, he wouldn't be the same anyway. Bart as Titans readers know him is dead.

I don't want things to be "the same." I am fine with Bart's rapid aging. Though, to be fair, his supporting cast is subject to change or disappear all together with the creative switch, considering the new writer is making his run a "fresh start."

As for why I'd like to see him on the team, I would enjoy reading about his changing relationships with his old friends, and I would *really* like to see him interact with Rose. That seems to be a storyline that was never properly tied up, so hopefully this arc will address it (if nothing else).

I also think it would be easier and, to me, more interesting to define Bart as he is now - how he's changed, how others react to those changes, etc. - by allowing him contact with more of the characters who knew him before he took up the Flash mantle.

Plus, it feels weird to me that Inertia should be on the Titans East while Bart's not associated with the Titans at all.

Titans East might result in casualties, maybe even fatalities.

Unlikely I know, but hey, it would be interesting.

I think this may be further proof that Johns' original plans had to be changed.

Definitely not trying to sound "riled up" as another poster likes to tell me to settle down when I question a stance....

But I'm curious as to why you think 8 is too many? The most popular run of the Titans (the 1980s New Teen Titans) had 8 members with the addition of Terra and maintained that when Jericho replaced her. Also this incarnation of the team began with 8 and maintained that number all the way through IC when they replaced Starfire with Speedy. Now we're at 8 again...

Seems like a good number to me....

The new JLA and JSA both have like two dozen members. There's plenty of room to return Bart and Conner to the roster without cutting anyone, particularly is Cyborg moves up to the majors.

Well back then, comics were longer and had more frames. You could get away with 8 Titans because there was more space to utilize them with (but for the most part, TNTT had 7 Titans at a time). In the modern era, I don't think there's a single writer who could write eight Titans and give them all a bit of the limelight often. They'd have to ignore characters for long periods of time, or simply abandon them completely (see Vic and Kory in Titans).

And having members as "backup" or "mentors" without ever delving into their characters just seems like a waste of a character to me.
