Awesome, let's play the Ed Benes drinking game:

- Every pose that looks like it was copied from the "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit issue: 1 drink.

- Butt shot: 2 drinks.

- Crotch shot: chug.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm having trouble standing right about now.

While it's good to see Red Lanterns more than a gang of thugs hanging around Ysmault just grunting, I'm still not convinced the book can make it over the long haul. Maybe it will draw more attention when the GL Animated Series hits with the Red Lanterns as recurring villains.

My biggest fault with the book is that Atrocitus doesn't seem like Atrocitus to me... too many speeches... not enough rage. I don't see why he hasn't turned on the remaining Guardians and the Green Lantern Corps by now.

Fleshing out more Red Lanterns is a long overdue idea and a resulting civil war is a natural which will definitely keep them busy. It seems they'd have no problems recruiting new members, but would have a high attrition rate if the Red Lanterns calmed down. Now that he's amongst the alive and kicking, I'd like to see the origin of Vice which had been solicited for the Tales of the Corps mini-series. We're seeing different motivations for the Reds than "the Sinestro Corps killed someone I care about." Finally, will the Red Lanterns have their own set of enemies developing?
