Default Invincible #50 preview!

http://comics.ign.com/articles/880/880349p1.html

The 50th issue! How cool is it that a non-Big 2 superhero book lasted this long?

And here's two cool interviews from Robert Kirkman, himself:

One of my favorite comics ever. And I'm very happy that a comic that isn't a DC or Marvel title make it to #50 since that rarely ever happens anymore.

I've been waiting and salivating for Kirkman to get this issue out.

So, Crabtree is out. Any word on who the new colorist yet?

Funny that the latest Wizard has Kirkman spoiling on the happenings betw. Atom Eve and Mark. It'll still be a good read, but it would've been nice to be surprised too.

I love this series. I can't wait to pick up the new issue after work today.

And there's Kirkman, making me feel bad for Cecil, even though he's acting like a jerk.

And i dunno about you, but I want a Science Dog ongoing.

This is the best book on the stands. No doubt about it.

I have to say, when Invinsible first came out, I had absolutely no interest in it.
Now it it one of my top must get books every month. This is pure superhero goodness and always a good read.
I look forward to another 50 issues and onward.

I love the characterization in this book. Mark's character arc from #1 to #50 is flawless and perfect. I also love that he focuses on Mark's mom as a human being and not some laundry/cleaning/cooking machine. I love Mark's new little bro as well.

I usually enjoy reading this one in trade format, but i had to get the big 50 celebration issue. And with the new direction next issue I'll probably be back for that too!

A Science Dog ongoing would probably push Kirkman over the edge. Maybe a mini!? He's a busy guy!!
