I think a live action trilogy of the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans would be an easier sell.

Robin (Dick Grayson) is a character everyone recognizes. From there they could focus on Donna Troy, Wally Kid Flash, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy and Raven. In fact...the first few issues introduced these characters quite well. Dick, Donna and Gar were all compelled to meet by Raven. Starfire came crashing from the sky and Cyborg and Wally were also drawn to the group.

They could deal with Trigon in the first film and Terra, Blackfire and Terminator in the sequels. They could even work Batman in for a cameo. Robin becoming Nightwing, Wally's power problems, Vic and Gar finding a place to belong, Raven's darkness, Starfire's love for earth and hatred for her sister, and Donna's search for her past could all be drawn together. If they used Brother Blood they'd have to make him a bit more realistic.

The TT would be more like the X-men. They'd be less iconic and easier to write. The JLA all have their own cast of characters and the Titans are a family. Plus, kids all aover know them from Cartoon Network. If done seriously, I think this would fly for DC.

I think this could work. Look at Ocean's 11. That was a great ensemble piece with big names. With the right director and script, this could be very good.

At least better than the pilot.

Default New title: JUSTICE LEAGUE movie discussion!!

Exclusive : Superman WON'T go it alone
I heard from a pretty reliable source this weekend – who, has some top contacts himself – who essentially confirmed that the WB are thinking of putting the next “Superman” movie into turnaround, and instead will just use the character in the new “Justice League” movie. (Funnily enough, Batman would not be involved in the new film – he’s too big to waste on a film like this, apparently).

Having now heard the same from about half-a-dozen reliable insiders, I checked in with a couple of sources near the Water Tower itself, who wouldn’t confirm nor deny the reports, but definitely haven’t dismissed that it’s a possibility. One of them would only say that there “could be something in [that]”.

I'm sorry... who for Superman? Ummm...

I can't wait to see the actual casting when it's announced. I hope it's good. I really hope it's good.

Here's a question:

How will the strike affect rewrites/reshoots? No screenplay is ever actually finished. Rewriting happens on a daily basis. This could bode poorly for the movie.

You should check out Friday Night Lights. Scott Porter would be a good choice for Superman, put probably an even better choice for Hal Jordan.

It could be pretty freakin' scary if done right.

That said, they may want to go a different route to avoid the comparisons with Fantastic Four 2.

Not that great casting and still some sites are saying that Wally West is The Flash, yet they Have apart listed for Iris. If they just put Wally's name with Barry's backstory and put him together with Iris, all I can say is ewwwwwww.

Also rumor has it that the movie will begin with the death of hero, Speculation being that Barry dies and we see the movie from the rookie Wally's eyes.

Traditionally how old was Bats when he started? 21? Isn't that age considered an adult in most parts of the world?
