I was disapointed with the JSA episode. Their part was played for laughs.
Although it was nice to see Alan Scott, Terry Sloane, and Ted Knight make their first animated appearance.

I wanted something more epic in a two-part episode format.

It was fun in some ways but yeah, for bigtime JSA fans like us it was bit annoying.

I mean it had Jay running to the bathroom 3 times

Alan's ring was on his right hand (my guess on that was they were saving moolah and just using a generic GL model then putting Alan's look over it)

To me Wildcat sounded like a redneck not a Noo Yawker!

Heroes fighting other heroes stories, even played for laughs, rarely appeal to me.

And so on!

I taped it on my DVR and plan to watch it again at least once more, just to focus on it in a humorous light instead of a "I hope the JSA are portrayed really cool and respectful" one and see of I'll be able to forgive the errors and enjoy it more based on what it is not what it isnt'

But really, they replaced the JSA with the Justice Guild in the JL toon series a few years ago out of fear of disrespecting them and this ep, which actually featured the JSA, was at least as goofy as that one.

I almost expected Black Siren, err Canary, to appear with a plate of cookies!

Nice show tonight. No opening but the show itself was a "Four Star Spectacular". Great to see The Creature Commandos, Adam Strange and of course...'Mazing Man!!!

James Trucker talks about the 4-Star episode.
My favorite part featured the Creature Commandos.
I have no idea what to make of Mazing Man. Never read the comic.

It is the series finale featuring Bat-Mite, Ambush Bug and in the teaser, one of the greatest heroes of them all...Abraham Lincoln!

MITEFALL was freaking HILARIOUS with it's total and complete disregard for the 4th Wall.

I laughed so dang hard throughout the whole thing!

We should have seen Ambush Bug way before now. He was so awesome.

My favorite moment.

SPOILER. Highlight below text to read

When the Scrappy Doo analogue appears.

Ambush Bug to Batmite; "You fiend"........

Seeing the proposed new show featured Batgirl in her traditional costume kicking butt...was a close second

And the 4th Wall wasn't broken, it was shattered to pieces thoroughly.

So sad this is over. It was so smart and funny and I loved watching it with my kids. But the finale was very well done.

I was surprised it lasted this long. Usually CN cancels a show after 52 episodes. It did the same thing with Justice League.

bought me a couple of the DVD sets -- ahem, I mean, I bought them for my son, for Christmas. Am waiting for the inevitable online sales to buy the rest.

HA! I am picking up Season Two Part One as one of my son's presents (*ahem*) too. Also the last season of Rocky & Bullwinkle. When i suggested it my wife smirked, but she knows he'll end up watching them more than I will, so technically it qualifies as a gift for him.

My daughter started to watch it with me so she is getting two of the volumes in her stocking and a bunch of the imaginext toys. She has been telling and showing us for weeks what she wants. She even started watching the 90s cartoon. We are currently on the 3rd disc of Volume 2.

I'm going through the same thing with my 3 year-old son. It's really awesome to see how much he loves this stuff.

I mean, almost THE EXACT SAME stuff, down to the Imaginext toys, which he loves.

Got me the season three discs - my family's been watching them a lot these past few days! I hadn't seen most of the episodes. The creative team really got to cut loose - loved seeing Luthor, Supes, WW, the JSA, etc. Loved Mite Fall. Ambush Bug was right, babe.
