I wish Hawkman had a bigger part, but I still liked it.

I love it when a plan comes together in the Multiverse!

Would have liked to see more members (they didn't have to talk, but just be around; we've already seen Dr. Fate, and would have been nice to see Sandman and others), and Professor Zee...changed quite a bit (becoming Per Degaton's lackey?)

That said, even with the changes, I liked this one. (ESPECIALLY Detective Chimp in the opening).

But, are they ever going to follow up on Starro with the Challengers???

Next...the sidekicks (but haven't we already seen a grown up Robin??)

Loved in the flashbacks when the JSA was training Batman that they showed him in his old costume ala Bob Kane in Detective #27, 1939 with the short blue gloves and pointy bat ears. Fantastic!

Ok guys just watched the JSA episode and it was the first episode of this series I've seen. It was pretty fun! Not amazing but definitely enjoyable. Huge fan of the JSA so this couldn't be missed.

i've heard mixed things about the series so far. Just wondering if any of you wanted to let me know what you thought have been the standout episodes so far...I'll probably go watch them all on hulu or youtube.

I'm sure there has to be at least 3 or 4 episodes that were genuinely awesome.

Thanks for any help.

Here's my top 10 favorites:

"Deep Cover for Batman" & "Game Over for Owlman" These are the two best IMO. This is a two-part episode so watch "Deep Cover" first. I think this is the coolest version of the Red Hood I've seen. There's a surprise guest-star in the second episode.

"Legends of the Dark-Mite!" This features Bat-Mite as voiced by Paul Reubens and written by Paul Dini. A truly surreal episode.

"Mayhem of the Music Meister!" This episode received a lot of press because it stars Neil Patrick Harris as a singing villain who fights Batman and Black Canary. The songs are witty and will stick with you. Best part is watching Black Canary belt out a show stopping tune and kick the crap out of some mobsters all at once. Also features a singing Black Manta and Gorilla Grodd.

"Evil Under the Sea!" A great new take on Aquaman.

"Dawn of the Deadmen!" This one has a great Kamandi short at the beginning and then features Deadman, Gentleman Ghost, Green Arrow and Speedy in the main story.

"Terror on Dinosaur Island!" Plastic Man helps Batman defeat Gorilla Grodd. Fire has a cameo.

"The Color of Revenge!" Batman teams with his former sidekick Dick Grayson who is a cool mix of Robin and Nightwing. They fight Crazy Quilt.

"Fall of the Blue Beetle!" Batman teams up with current Beetle Jaime and features flashbacks of Ted Kord.

"Death Race to Oblivion!" A true guilty pleasure episode that has a Wacky Races meets the DCU concept. (Batman, Green Arrow, Guy Gardner, Huntress, Plastic Man, and Woozy Winks) and villains (Black Manta, Catwoman, Gentleman Ghost, Joker, and Steppenwolf) have to race for Earth's survival. The BEST part of this episode is the Captain Marvel opening. One of the best animated versions of Shazam ever produced.

Least favorite episode:

"Hail the Tornado Tyrant!" I liked Red Tornado's first appearance in a Christmas episode, but this episode just fell flat.

Hope this helps!

Awesome! Thank you so much. I'm going to watch all of those in the next day or 2 and will tell you what I think. Like I said I enjoyed the JSA episode and laughed quite a few times. The only problem I had was I didn't think the elder Wildcats voice was a great fit but he wasn't bad when he was younger.

Dr Midnight was SWEET!

Now that they've had Hawkman on the show, and Gentleman Ghost a whole bunch of times, they need to do an episode with both of them.

Batman soaring through the skies with Enemy Ace while wearing a Scarf,
PRICELESS!!!

Batman and Detective Chimp in a Drawing Room Mystery was very good.
Was very surprise when the villian was reveal. Never would have guessed
False Face.

Was great seeing Penguin with his array of nasty umbrellas taking on Batman.
Good voice work. Love the chuckle.

I admit this version of Aquaman annoys me but I found the latest episode to
feature him to be FUN and Well Done.
Had fun checking out all the cameos.

JSA episode started off nice with the B&W newsreel flashback.
In fact I like the Flashbacks better then the main story.
Sad to see the final fate of the Original Black Canary.
Good scenes of the JSA training Batman and the current Black Canary.

Overal both episodes gets a Solid 'B+' from me.

When I saw the villain was False Face I went "And Malachi Throne just smiled up in heaven."

Now they need to do an animated King Tut and Egghead.

They have appeared as cameos during a prison riot in an earlier episode but yes, either one would be worthy of a full-length story.

Malachi Throne is still with us.

Met him last year at Wondercon and he recently voiced one of the Guardians in "Green Lantern: First Flight"

Also bought a picture of him as Falseface with Adam West as Batman.
