I just hope they don't have Zod turn into Doomsday.

I hope Zod is dead and doesn't come back. I think bringing him back would sacrifice any point in having Superman kill him in the first place and they might as well have thrown him into the Phantom Zone with the rest.

For the end of MOS to really work in context of a larger movie series, it needs to be something that's important in defining Superman (hopefully in a "this is why I have to be a better hero" sense, not in a "I like snapping necks" way); this would be undercut if Zod came back.

agreed....but I have a feeling if they get to a 3 we may in fact see him again. It would absolutely undercut what Supes had to do even though I think it would have meant more if he killed him while taking out a building as opposed to just a family of 4.

I would not be surprised if Lex Luthor gets ahold of the corpse, experiments on it and brings him back in a deranged form as Bizarro. Zombies are ALL the rage and a Super-Zombie would be a slam dunk, especially since the Kryptonian undergarments all look alike, so it already looks like a variation on the super-suit. This way you get Luthor AND someone who Superman can fight with.

Because that worked so well with Nuclear Man.

Sadly, it's often my lot to come up with cooler ways than the studios do.

I want to see them make Luthor interesting. He has always seemed about as interesting as Wonder bread to me.

Put a bunch of animal heads in his office.

Make it even more interesting and have them be alien heads rather than animal heads.

Hah! We all know from the movies that aliens pretty much have human bodies but really weird heads.

If Lex has Zod's body that's got to be better than the strand of hair he had to make Nuclear Man; wouldn't he just go straight to Nuclear Man II?*

*technically III if you count the deleted Nuclear Man from Superman IV. Hahaha Superman IV, Nuclear Man II!

I can see the studio expanding on the mistrust the military has of Superman (Hey, it works for Marvel) and making General Sam Lane a central character. IMO, that should demand Metallo as the next villain. Why not make it even more interesting and introduce President Lex Luthor as well? And then the next movie Lex makes contact with Brainiac when he tries to find ways to eliminate the alien threat? I'd love to see an updated Lex Luthor/Brainiac team up as well as finally see Brainiac on the big screen. Been teased about him for some years now.

Also need to see something that suggests Batman is watching Superman. Don't need to actually see him or Bruce Wayne but just something that shows he's aware of this super-powered being that's roaming around the Earth.
