Better than I expected. Thought the plot went smoothly, enjoyed the introduction of characters. Surprised to see it's scheduled to go head to head vs. The Big Bang Theory.

I'm interested in the show so far and haven't watched the whole epi (at 30 min mark).

Renee and Barbara have gf-gf past.

I like the derivations. I like the surprises it brings. Gives everything a fresh, new take. I wouldn't be interested otherwise.

It was okay. Didn't blow me away but entertained me enough that I will watch again next week.

Funny you mentioned the Australian thing - my daughter jumped all over that immediately.

Gordon seems a little wooden. IMO Bullock was the best part of the show.

OK so I find it funny...The guy who plays Alfred is British.....His Father actually played the Doctor.....The hell if he doesn't sound Australian

Yeah it had enough to get me interested but it needs to improve pretty fast.

I like Gordon and Bullock together. It'll be a matter of time before Bullock and Gordon knock them back at a bar.

I didn't care for Fish Mooney at all.

I will say Gotham is better than Monday Night Raw.

my least favorite character, so far, is Fish Mooney. First of all, hate the name. Lastly, she's too generic (blah, bland) as a crime boss.

Pedestrian and predictable and a bit of a mess. Hard to say this trip is really necessary after all the other Bat-adaptations.

Gonna watch tonight's ep not giving up after one but has to improve for me to make it full season.

Agree about Fish Mooney stupid name and I thought most of her lines were delivered with a lot of ham.

It's still trying to find it's footing but there's enough good in here (Penguin, Bullock, the feel of Gotham, the art direction) to keep me interested. Arrow had a bit of a slow start too, and look how good that is.

I'm willing to give Gotham a few more eps to really hook me.

Fish Mooney is still terrible. Jada's playing it way too hammy for my tastes.

Watching 3rd episode right now. I dislike Renee Montoya. Breaks into Jim & Barbara's home, then does a sexual advance and threatens to put her in jail.

I disliked the whole episode.

I sided with the balloon man. Instead of just shooting the balloon Jim grabs onto the balloon man and they both float higher and higher. I yelled at the tv, "Shoot the dang balloon! Why'd you grab onto him, idiot!"

Rucka & Brubaker wrote Renee incredible well -- with flaws. Gotham tv show makes me dislike Renee. Not good.

I'm done.

Too many other shows I like and too many other comics and prose books to read to make room for this show.

This show is riddled with character flaws (get it...riddled )

I've watched it all so far and it's just falling flat for me.

I still cannot stand Alfred.

Alfred was a non-entity in the 1st episode (only one I've watched so far). I like Sean Pertwee as an actor but the bits I've seen of the other two episodes have also been devoid of Alfred.

I didn't watch last night's episode, but while watching the 3rd (and my last) I kept asking myself, "What is the story reason for Alfred being an Australian?"

I don't see why they had to change his nationality...

so I thought the same thing. Then I was schooled in the fact that the actor playing Alfred is the son of i think the original Dr. Who and is indeed English.

Well if he's English that's the worst English accent I've ever heard because I swear he sounds Australian.

I saw this pointed out earlier that he's English, but the character sounds Australian to me.

What is the story reason the character is Australian?
