So we were lied to again. 12 issues is not an ongoing. Kyle fans really are getting manipulated here.

Isn't this overkill on Green Lantern titles?

Hey it's better than nothing. GL fans wanted this and DC responded. I'm happy that Kyle has a mini into a possible ongoing. By the end of the 1st trimester we will have 3 GL titles to collect and to top it off it's by good writers and artists. I forgot when the Guy mini is due but that is even better cause that is more for us.
I admitt I'm not a fan of that new Ion pic but it won't hold me back to getting the issue. I like what Marz did on the Darkness, Silver Surfer and Samurai. I have faith he we deliver a good Ion series.

I have to admit that I have my misgivings about this new direction for Kyle. But I think the problem is that there was a direction I would have chosen, that I really wanted to see, and which was not only feasible, but seemed to be the future according to some GJ comments.

So my gut is saying "ARRRGH! No! Do it my way!" But my head is telling me to wait and read the book, because I'll probably enjoy it a great deal.

(That direction I wanted, btw, was a Hal and Kyle GL book. I envisioned them as inseparable as Kirk and Spock. Starsky and Hutch. Turner and Hooch. The Captain and Tennille.)

I'm done.

So, keep going on that assumption. The series is an ongoing, unless sales are poor and it tanks in 12 issues. I'm going to do my part to prevent that. I would hope you and everyone else here would do the same. That way, no one is "mislead", because the series will remain an ongoing with that kind of support.

I would rather have the series end then for it to be cancelled, a year is a long time, If we can keep the book in the 70K range I think he'll get the new series

Let me preface this by saying: I have, like, no money. Supporting a Wife and 2 kids on an Olive Garden server income is near impossible to do.

I will buy two copies of #1. I wish it had an alternate cover to give me reason to buy more.

I support a Marz/Kyle title THAT MUCH!

I hope it goes on longer than 12 but I am aboard for the duration.

Ron: You have one fan's guaranteed support!

I also agree with Voltage that an ending is better than a cancelation.
