I am getting sick and tired of all the Oscar nominated actors getting cast in this movie.

Well, see.....it worked in Iron Man (think about it, EVERY main and co star higher thn Clack Gregg was at least Oscar nominated) so they feel if they jam them in HERE.....who cares if they actually FIT.

What irks me is that I can't even blame Didio for THIS bad choice. Maybeit's the characters that are so flawed they're for all intents and purposes cursed?

So we know what actors fit for this movie before anyone in the public has even read a script or gasp, seen the finished product. Eisenberg played a character that thought himself to be smarter and more smug than those around him and pretty much an a-hole. Don't see how that could fit any version of Lex. I am pretty sure brokeback Joker wasn't a fit before anyone saw the finished product.

I prefer to judge the movie when the actual movie is presented to me.

I [i]was[/] on board for this and frankly, felt Ak was something of inspired casting. This? This makes me more uneasy that Keaton as Batman or Evans as Cap EVER did.....

I hope you're right. Maybe it's just my dislike of this guys talent.

Look, Eisenberg is a great actor. A really good one in fact. The only problem is that he's good at a certain type of character. He just does not scream Lex Luthor. Not only that, but he's REALLY baby faced. Let's be honest, when you place someone who looks that young and fresh next to Cavil it won't really seem that much a threat. His screen presence doesn't say LEX LUTHOR.

Who knows, maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe they're going for a smarmy, more nerdy type genius. To be honest, this seems like inspired casting, to me.

And Jeremy Irons...i mean, come on. A legend.

I'm still a bit reserved about Snyder, but the casting is the least of my worries.

More Dr. Sivanna, less Lex Luthor.
Something about that doesn't sit right with me.

I agree about Irons though. THAT has me excited.

I like the Luthor casting - in line with today's young software moguls.

So a thought struck me regarding the batman costume. People are talking about how it's so striking and different that what we've ever seen before, and then it hit me...

Every version of Batman in the DCU that isn't actually Bruce Wayne right now has red in their costume: Earth 2, 3000, and most importantly, Beyond. Why most importantly? Because there have been a number of rumors that say the Batman series will focus on Batman Beyond. And what would be a better way to start linking the two than by making a batman costume that links the two together?

It would also explain why suddenly Red is the new favorite color of alternative Batmen everywhere.
