Default The Vision

Two issues in, I'm enjoying the story. Art is good and I like the feel of the series and the questions its raising about the synthetic life of the Vision and the family created.

I can't imagine how they'd follow-up this story arc, so reading it strikes me of one of those "Ongoing in name only" series (since putting "1 of 4" on a title means death these days). But its an interesting comic.

I read the first issue and did not go on from there

One day I'll be done with this, but for now, once more into the fray. Thom

#3, what do you say. Freakin' weird. Could have done without the Agatha Harkness flashback...and the end?? Don't know who was more shocked, the Vision--or me. Loved the cover though.

The Agatha Harkness flashback - was it a flashback, it seemed set in the present but Harkness is dead (definitely confused me)?

I like aspects of the book, but it feels like a really good story trapped in a Vision comic almost. I'm not sure if that's more my expectations than anything else though.

Well I wish I'd picked that up, I wasn't sure how I was supposed to take that sequence. Did I miss a caption indicating it was a flashback?

no, I just went with the B&W, a device that's used often to show flashbacks

Tom King ends his run on the title with issue #12 (going exclusive with DC).

i dropped this.

i've read Omega Men, Vision and Sheriff of Babylon and i can't get a read on King. i don't particularly enjoy his stuff but i can't put a finger on what's unenjoyable about it.

the internet certainly is in love with him right now.

i guess i just don't get it. wouldn't be the first time. lel

I'm gonna pick this up in trade.
Which is what the first two issues felt like they were written for.

This latest issue wasn't that good, probably the worst of the run this far. I think I was just expecting a little more from the blackmailer more than anything. The death was a little too convenient as the angle from which he shot IMO wouldn't have hit the person who was killed.
