Default Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.

Very cool to see Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. as a TPB. I only wish it had come out sooner... I had to pick up the majority of the run here and there as back issues, reading them out of order. Great characters / great series.

I feel funny. I would've bought them but I'm only missing one back issue.

I bought them as they arrived and have been waiting for Geoff and Lee to re-visit this family.

S&S is one of the few series I own on both single issues & TPB. There are so many plotlines left dangling here that I'd love to see Geoff get the opportunity to pick up someday.

I think Stargirl deserves a miniseries. I'd like to see it deal with her family life which was always my favorite part of Stars & Stripe. (There's really no room in JSA for too much of Courtney's personal life.)

I'd like to see more interaction with her brother, a visit with the Shade, and maybe see her look into what happened to Shazam. They had a bit of a romance going on in JSA and now Freddie has assumed the role. It would make sense for her to seek him out and find trouble along the way. (I'd also like to see her meet Mia!)

I really hope DC lets Geoff write a Stargirl mini soon.

S&S was a great book, I really hope Geoff gets to do more with these characters outside of JSA. A mini would be great

It's a shame Stargirl didn't get to rock out with Young Justice more often, but in a way I'm glad she ended up with JSA beore YJ got transformed into New Teen Titans, by getting in with the adults she was able to remain her old fun loving self and avoid the hardcore teen angst.

I'd love to see Courtney hook up with Air Wave. That'd be cool to see.

Oh, why not? If anything just so he gets more use in the DCU. But he has such a history, and I'd love to see him pop up in Green Lantern as well.

And why have him hook up with Courtney? Because Robin is too predictable.

If Geoff was to re-visit this strip, I would rather that he not bring in guest stars and what-if plotlines. I'd rather that he just go back and continue to build a bit more about what he was setting up.

In comic time it is 2 to 3 years later, a lot has happened to Courtney. How does this impact her realtionships with her mom, Pat, Mike and Mary? Did Mary take up the roll as a Gimmick Girl? How is Mike's training going? What about School? What of Sir Justin?

There is so many dangling plots and updating situations to have a non-stop, crazy and fun romp.

Come on Geoff, it would be a blast <grin>

Well - considering how next year (2009) is the ten year anniversary (!) of the debut of Courtney, we should have some kind of a celebratory revisit to the series.

I mean, I would like to see one...

I agree 110% here. It was actually S&S and JSA that reconnected me to comics after a LONG three year layoff.

I miss Courtney and her single adventures too. Maybe a new book with Maxine and Mary, perhaps? Both such strong characters and I'm worried they're getting overshadowed in the team atmosphere in JSA.

BTW, in addition to S&S, anyone who likes Courtney needs to check out her issue of JSA All Stars and an issue of JSA during Infinite Crisis, the number escapes me at the moment, but it ties into All Stars.

Peace, love and the JSA

Air Wave's a little old for Court, although they said the same about Kitty Pryde and Pete Wisdom...

BTW, Geoff - when you bringing him back?
