From CBR: Sales Estimates for June, 2011

Death ruled in June as the Death of Spider-Man topped the charts with Fear Itself and Flashpoint coming up behind it.

It's kinda worrying that someone has to get prominently killed to sell a comic these days, wonder how much the TT issue where Red Devil was killed sold?

It probably doesn't sell for much; a Teen Titan dies or is maimed every other week.

It happens. The death of the Flash and Supergirl were big sellers of the COIE limited series for example. Or Marvel Girl in Uncanny X-Men.

Wow - Shocked to see the Legion at #106. And Sweet tooth selling less than 10, 000. No surprise that B&tO was the lowest ranked DC.

its the end of the world as we know it

i feel fine

keep in mind this is just direct market and not the whole picture. this ignores digital and most tpb sales.

it could be that like myself a lot of people are shifting their business to trades and/or digital, and thus the overall number of comic readers may not be plummeting like a rock as it would seem.

- VirtuAdept - VACATION MODE. Apparently few here really like my posts. It was a fun few years. Catch you on the flip side.

I'd almost be afraid to look up the 25-35 year old comic sales info for these comics and see how that compares to today's comic sales

Or lack thereof

Jade: I'll take care of it for you, Obie.

Atom: Obie!? You call a thing like that--OBIE??
