And of course I bought it when it was on sale at Comixology last week, forgetting that I already owned it all thru Dark Horse.

Yet another new DC Essentials freebie at Comixology, the new (?) Joker #1 from Brian Azzarello.
https://www.comixology.com/DC-Comics...hEZXRhaWxMaXN0

Stumbled upon this possibly new freebie. The pretty cool and 71 page DC Holiday Special from 2009.
https://www.comixology.com/DC-Holida...aXN0L0lzc3Vlcw

And this looks like a good price; $.99 for a 201 page horror anthology.

New Humble Bundle, a ton of Image books.
https://www.humblebundle.com/books

And a lot of those Star Wars books are now on Comixology. Someone shoot me if I forget I bought the $300 Dark Horse bundle and buy it again.

Yikes! That sucks.

I buy any/all Dynamite digital comics through Dark Horse Digital. Dark Horse sells their digital comics themselves without a middle man for a reason: more money goes to creators and the publisher.

I'd rather my money go to creators and publisher rather than a middle man. That's the reason when I buy comics on Comixology I do it via their website NOT via their app. This cuts out the app holder's cut. I have a kindle fire hdx. Since Amazon bought Comixology this no longer applies to me or kindle fire owners.

Yeah, I wish I had started that system earlier. I was/am mainly following the sales, but try to buy from Dark Horse first when given the chance, and the website over the apps generally.

I also own many Dynamite comics via the great Humble Bundle they had; so I wonder if I own these three times now.....

Comixology actually has storefronts that give cuts to different comic shops. I order through https://discountcomicbookservice.comicretailer.com/ . DCBS then gets a cut of the money.

DCBS will also give you a credit for 5% of your comixology order to be used on their site.

It looks great! The fat one balances the two skinny ones.

Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is?

Collection only sale until 1/12/14 from Archie on 25 different Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man books.

https://www.comixology.com/Sonic-Meg...Z2VDYXJvdXNlbA

Garth Ennis' The Boys sale from Dynamite ends 1/11/14; three different formats to choose from, singles, trades, and omnibi. Info from DVDTalk's Bob:
"Okay...So The Boys have a few different buying options. Here they are. All prices pre tax, of course.

3 Omnibus editions & the separate issues for the 3 minis - $72.79
3 Omnibus editions & the three TPBs that include the minis (Volumes 5, 8, & 10) - $69.94
All 12 Trades - $79.87
All 90 individual issues of everything - $89.10

So the best option is to buy the 3 omnibus volumes and then the 3 separate trade volumes for the miniseries."

From Marvel, ending 1/11/14, a bunch of Deadpool minis, 26 issues total. As much as I want to hate it (because if I like a character I end up buying every appearance), I enjoy Deadpool every time I've read it.

https://www.comixology.com/Deadpool-...Z2VDYXJvdXNlbA

The Marvel collections on sale have cycled.

Very helpful -one of these days I am actually going to buy The Boys, read the first issue and really enjoyed it. Are the mini's vital?

Bob tells me his math was off a bit, trades total $74 not $79 and change.

I've never read it; and given my backlog and the frequency it goes on sale, I'm trying to resist.

Bought Boys omnibus 1. I love almost everything Ennis writes. I expect to like this. I've held off buying the Boys because of yet another comic skewering superheroes. Around the time they came out it seemed there were a lot of comics coming out that were doing the same concept.

Big Punisher sale until 1/15/14. Odd, I don't own the #1s like I do most every other Marvel title. I guess they weren't part of the big #1 freebie events of the past. In the past I'd buy all these without hesitation, but I'm going to try to limit myself to a couple of the best storyline sin this lot. Any suggestions?

A Zombies versus Robots sale from IDW, ending 1/19/14. Twelve singles and one collection. You may already own the collection, as it was a past freebie. I don't think I've read any of this yet, but it looks fun.
