Classy of DC to do a tribute comic to Dwayne McDuffie.

At long last, DC is collecting the original Firestorm series. I once made a trip to the Library of Congress and told a **** and bull story about doing research in order to read them. I can't say I thought they were all that good - Milgrom's art is not my favorite - but it's still great to see that they will be around.

Jeez my monthly order has plummeted from around 24 titles to 12 (basically by Brightest Day ending and nothing I was hoping for spinning out of it, and the cancellations last month), unless I pick up some Flashpoint mini's might be a lean couple of months.

I didn't get into Firestorm until the mid-80's myself but I'll probably get this just because I'm such a big fan of Martin and Ronnie

Particularly if, as Tommy Lee Edwards said on Twitter, none of the proceeds are going to either McDuffie's family or any charity.

In that case, it would be the exact opposite of classy.

Why are all of the Flashpoint books coming out AT THE SAME TIME?

They didn't do this with Blackest Night.

Well, I know I am not initially buying them (perhaps I might get a collection but that's a lot of cash in one month).
