Yeah, it may be time for the cape or a spinoff.

I'd think at some point no matter his reservations, he has to have enough pride in his work and enough awareness of the character's history where he'd realize that it wouldn't be prudent for a man of his age to be playing young Clark Kent.

Thank you Geoff for "Absolute Justice." The JSA on TV is so freakin' awesome.

Watching it now.

Welling is so freaking wooden at times.

This live action version of the JSA rocks. I want a Dr. Fate helmet.

Anyone know who drew the JSA group artwork on the wall?

My only complaint are the overload of commercial breaks these 2 episodes are taking...

There is just no way to make Hawkman not look dorky in real life.

To be fair the show is rather constrained by their limited budget.

Only so much they can do.

Fate & Star Girl look pretty good.

Icicle with a fauxhawk. Tee-hee! Pam Grier as The Wall. Wow!

I haven't been watching Smallville. Why is Martian Manhunter coming off like Crimson Avenger?

It'll be nice to see this on DVD without the commercials and the snow emergency banner across the top 1/6th of the screen.

Other than that, it's been great so far.

He's angry...we're kind of using him as the team's Wolverine...being a cute little dragon, that's pretty funny. People on fire tend to stop laughing.

The Checkmate subplot is a little interesting, I wonder if they are going to carry that out further and perhaps bring in Task Force X?

As for the JSA...that was fun. Hawkman was a little hokey in appearance but as Augustine said...there's only so much they can do on a TV series limited budget. The one thing that I was a little disappointed in was the limited use of Courtney's staff, not much more than a glorified night light most of the time.

They certainly left it open to bring the JSA back with Waller's cryptic comments though. Fun fun stuff!

No Task Force X, as Waller said it's the Suicide Squad, that made me very happy to hear.

I thought it was pretty good overall, yeah they were held back by the limited budget but they did pretty good overall and Johns as always sprinkled tons of little comic lore all over the place.

I certainly hope so. Add that with Carter and Courtney's new mission maybe we'll get to see the rest of the JSA and maybe some of their Infinity Inc kids as well!
