Default What was the best DC comic of the week for 9/24/2008?

Last week's winner was All Star Superman #12 with 35.90% of the votes. This week Superman #680 was the best DC comic of the week for me.
All Star Batman and Robin, The Boy Wonder #10 was good, but I really liked Superman #680. The fight between Krypto and Atlas was awesome. It's really good to see Krypto in action.

I'm with you - Superman #680 all the way.

Good boy.

I've gone with Legion of Super-Heroes #46.

There were several good comics this week.

Trinity had a great first half but its momentum was halted by a slower, if decent, second half.

Superman was good with some great moments but still suffers a little from Robinson's grasp on Superman's voice feeling off occasionally.

Superman/Batman and Blue Beetle were both very good and were close contenders but...

Legion of Super-Heroes, for me, had the best balance of action, intrigue and soap opera wrapped in some fantastic Frances Manapul art.

Superman was great, but I went with Teen Titans. That title is really building steam and is going to be the best team book on the stands in a year.
Go vote for the Outsiders on the Superhero Fantasy League!!!

I can't vote, but I'd go Legion of Superheroes 46.

This is, quietly, the best team book Marvel or DC is producing and the best teenage book save Blue Beetle on the shelves at either Marvel or DC.

From the smallest things to the biggest, Shooter has created a number of interesting characters and relationships, and a defined culture surrounding it.

In a week where i only bought ONE DC book, I've got to give this to something I didn't even buy. Supes 680.

And how long has DC been publishing that...?

I picked Superman/Batman #52. Superman #680 was great, but I loved the mini-versions of the characters in S/B. Plus Bat-Mite was involved.
The floggings will continue until morale improves.

It was a difficult choice between Superman 680 and Teen Titans 63, but I ultimately went with the Titans. There were a few spots in Superman that just didn't feel quite right, while Titans was spot on through and through.

I take it Wildstorm and Vertigo are no longer published by DC then...?
'Cause this weekly vote constantly omits them.
