Default Secret Wars tpb

I have been waiting for this for SO long!
A new printing of Marvel Super-Heroes; Secret Wars!
I must admit this is my favorite Marvel mini series.
So many great moments!

Maybe we'll get one whenever Bendis finishes his Secret War (which is horrible).

I'll be picking up this new printing and I'm kind of eager to get it as I've never read it.

Hey Brian, who don't you like Secret War. I think it is very interesting (except for issue 4, which was just one big fight scene)

Nothing has happened so far. All we know is that some mysterious thing happened a while ago, and someone's trying to get revenge for it now. You can learn more about most books from the solicitations, and this series is on the forth issue already. It's pathetic.

I may have to buy this, I still have my Secret Wars action figures!

DC's Super powers killed their wimpy shields though!

Even Marvel themselves (via the introduction in my printing of the series) basically admits the Secret Wars toys were inferior to DC's Super Powers. What does that tell you? At least we got a great story out of it, though.

Brian, I think you have a point there. But I still think it's a great book for the simple reason that it's very entertaining. And the artworks fantastic, so that also helps. I don't know how their gonna rap up the whole story in issue 5, but knowing Bendis, he'll find a way.

you know what was fun about secret wars? the unfinished series of it in the spider-man animated series from the early 90's. the first and only 2 episodes were interesting atleast.

Wait, have there been more than one Secret War and do they have anything to do with each other (besides being a war that is fought in secret of course)?

Secret Wars 1 - No offence, Marvel's answer to Crisis

Secret Wars II - A follow-up fans demanded than collectively asked each other "why?"

Ultimate Secret War - Don't know, don't read Ultimate books...

There wasn't anything really "secret" about Ultimate War. It was just Ultimates vs. Ultimate X-Men, with the Brotherhood being taken down by the Ultimates in the first issue.
