I'm glad that they're skipping the Liefeld issues, but rather annoyed that they're going to include the almost equally dreadful Robin issues in this collection. Sorry, Robin fans, but I absolutely hated that two-parter. I was rather hoping that story would be collected seperately with the appropriate Robin compilation, so it could be safely ignored. Well, I guess I can't have everything.

And on a related note.... I'm STILL waiting for them to release Titans Hunt in TPB form.

Where is John Galt?

Looking for meaning, searching for answers, finding nothing but loose change and pocket lint.

You thought Robin 146-147 was that bad? I mean either they skipped the Kestrel 2 parter in favor of the Titans vs Lexcorp creation 2 parter or they didn't! Which is worse?

The compilation could have dropped both, and I'd have been very satisfied.

Okay, if we didn't have Teen Titans 27-28 and Robin 146-147 in the trade listed above, what would you have chosen instead?

TT #29-33 plus the Annual would have been sufficient. That would have been six issues; lots of TPBs get released with even less.

If you want to add to the page count, maybe throw in last year's Teen Titans/Outsiders Secret Files for good measure. "Teen Titans Hunt" wasn't dreadful; it was at least better than either TT #27-28 or Robin #146-147.

I would rather have seen the Simone arc collected in lieu of the Robin issues.
Plus, the exclusion of #27 and #28 puts a spanner in my plans to collect this whole series in trade format.

#27-28 are the worst Titans comics I have ever read. Theyre not even worth picking up in trade format.

Word of advice: don't read the latter part of Jurgen's run.

One of the reasons I didn't like those issues was because they seemed completely out of continuity with the rest of Teen Titans.

Oh well, like I said, you can't have everything.

Admittedly i didnt like the way Gar was written - but there were some good moments in there - and i think it will be good in the trade in between TT32 & 33?

My guess is, the trade sequence will be:

* The last few pages of TT #26 that reveal Brother Blood and Omen (they weren't in The Insiders TPB).
* TT #29-32
* Robin #146-147
* TT Annual
* TT #33

******

Note to DC: Titans Hunt TPB. I won't stop harrassing you until you put one out.

the Robin issues were pretty bad, but I think all but one or two issues from all of Willingham's run have been pretty bad. The thing that makes me nervous by looking at the Robin arc inclusion is SPOILER. Highlight below text to read
I'm really begining to worry about Superboy now. Before I wasn't too worried but now, what with the inclusion of two horrific issues that only talk about his recovery really makes me wonder what is going to happen to Conner in IC 6

just glad the Robin ones are in there as otherwise the trade will read funny maybe?
we will see Kon get tucked in by SBP in 32, and he will be magically better for his trip with NW in 33 - without the Robin stuff and i guess the annual there wont be any fluidity to Kons story - since the trade mostly centres round him

I'm disappointed the Kestrel arc is being left out. Including the Robin issues is a good idea though.
