Default Detective Comics #864 Discussion Thread (with Preview)

Out April 28th, David Hine joins Detective Comics as writer picking up on plot threads of Arkham Reborn and recent revelations regarding Jeremiah Arkham in Batman.

What next for Jeremiah?

As much as I'm going to miss Rucka on the book with Batwoman, it is cool to see David Hine getting to continue the work he was doing with Arkham this past year.

Interview with David Hine at CBR on some of the build up to this arc and what we can expect.

Good read in the lead story by Hine, running on from what Tony Daniel did with Arkham/Black Mask but with Hine continuing his look into the structure of the Asylum and its patients with Jeremiah now among them.

The cliffhanger was quite surprising and I'm intrigued as to what it might mean/lead to though I expect its definitely not as it appears.

As for the Question co-feature?

Loved it! I loved how it carried on threads from Final Crisis: Revelations and Helena's faith in particular was handled very well in the chapter.

I think this was my last issue of Detective. I was buying it mostly for Williams' art, but enjoyed my first taste of Batwoman and Renee as Question. But I'm not interested in the Black Mask Arkham story or any of this Vandal Savage as Cain stuff.
