It's going to be weird for me, not getting any DC comics for two months while this event takes place.

Was just wondering about that. I may just get the main title and trade wait on this. It's too much to buy all of, but most of them look of interest.

Not sure.

It's a nice breather to have. The books look like fun but aren't anything I necessarily MUST READ.

There are iterations of characters I will enjoy reading more than the current continuity.

it does seem that "old continuity" is slowly creeping it's way back into the NU52 (which I guess we cannot use that tag line anymore). Geoff is doing it with Superman, Black Canary's costume (thank god), Beast Boy is green again, Wonder Girl is actually Wonder Woman's sister.....

I am looking forward to the Convergence books. I will not be getting all of them but I do have hopes for this mini series.

At least Waid is writting the AVENGER series for Dynamite.

None of the new 24 interest me. BATMAN 66 is the only DC comic I am currenting reading.
otherwise it nothing but back issues from 1970-1985 to read.

There are a lot of good issues in that 15 year span.

Looking at the June solicits, I know I'll be trying out two titles, but I honestly don't know how many more than that.

I'm leaning toward getting Earth 2: Society. I haven't read any of the earlier E2 titles but this looks like it might be closer to the PG & Huntress concept I had in mind than Worlds' Finest turned out to be.

I'm looking at the writers for the different Convergence stories (the two-issue ones) and wondered if these stories were inventory stories, that DC had such a backlog of them that they just made them a part of this event.

That's kind of doubtful based on the sturcture of the stories. These are all instances of different old continuities colliding, based on the concept that each was preserved by Brainiac before it's demise. Golden Age Earth 2 vs. Kingdom Come, etc.

No, they went and got people with a history at DC with certain era's. Or who made a pitch for an area. A couple of people who have been interviewed about it said they did a pitch for a certain book and got it.

It was all done from scratch.

Looking at this week's offerings, this is the first time in a very long time, that I won't be getting a single comic.

I've gone from 20+ titles down to less than 10. Unless I'm pleasantly surprised, my number of titles will continue to decrease. Maybe it's just my age but DC (and comics in general) isn't offering anything that excites me.

I have about 8 post Convergence titles I am definitely buying and 2 I am on the fence with.

What I am wondering is what is all of Marvel's plans post Secret Wars. I think now might be a good time to start to spill some.
