A question for all the GL experts out there....

At another GL message board I go to (and moderate) there is this person bring up a character named "Robert Taggett". I think they even went as far as added this character to Wikipedia. I have never heard of this person, the GL Corps website doesn't even have him listed (and they are pretty accurate as far as I know, haven't seen a mistake yet). Here is what this poster is saying:

Can any one tell me about the story of Green Lantern's (Hal Jordan) Uncle Robert Taggett. As I remember it he was called to assist Hal against Sinestro in a battle to save Earth. He married Tomar-Re's sister and now lives on their home planet. He apparently had a Heart Attack and was flown to Oa by Hal and Hollika Rahn for a new heart and was there for 4 months to recover. While there was given the newest ring made by the Guardians, thus making him one of the most powerful Green Lanterns in history. I have heard of the story from years ago and had a copy of the GL issue but forgot in which issue it was in. Can anyone help. I see they just made a new action figure of him in the newest set out... If course bought four of them.. Thanks...

I can't find anything on this "Robert Taggett", I don't believe the character ever exsisted. I don't want any misinformation given to new fans and that having them think that something is true.

It's bogus - Unless he wrote in to the letter column, there's no "Robert Taggett" in GL.
