NBC Announces 2012 Midseason Schedule

NBC is doing a big midseason shuffle, putting '30 Rock' in the 'Community' timeslot, a move that could spell the end for the quirky cult-hit comedy. What else is changing? Well, quite a bit.

NBC made no mention of 'Community,' 'Prime Suspect,' 'Awake,' 'Bent' Betty White's 'Off Their Rockers' or 'BFFs' in their announcement. Per Vulture: NBC says 'Community' will return to the schedule, but no date has been given.

I have to say, the show's kinda lost some of its charm. It seems to be trying too hard to edgy, funny, AND innovative at the same time. I think it might have run its course. Or, at least, it's close.

Well, there are only two things left on NBC that I watch: Chuck & Community. Chuck's on its last season so Community's the only thing keeping me from programming NBC right out of my channel guide...

I'm a little annoyed they brought it back against the beginning of basketball.

On the one hand, I don't like basketball, so it was great to have Community to watch. On the other, I hope they put a lot of stock in dvr numbers, 'cause I'm sure fans would rather watch the game live...

This week episode wasn't really my favorite, but Jeff Hulking out was worth the price of admission. LOVED that they played the "David Banner walks away sadly" music at the end.

It appears we're headed for some sort of Abed/ Dark Abed storyline...

So was this week's ep the least accessible ep of any TV show ever? I think they've completely given up on reaching a wider audience.

But it was awesome nonetheless. Not as many LOL moments but such a clever concept.

I was thinking the same thing. It's still a good show, but it's not as funny as it used to be. The wacky fun has been replaced with uncomfortable situations.
