Completely, totally and absolutely, copying the original published colours which were done by Steve Firchow

Sometimes it's a good idea to just do a simple reproduction. Firstly its easy, and secondly I find that it helps you get inside the head of the guy who did the original colours and work out how the heck they did it. Besides I know Steve won't mind... Right Steve...? Umm... Steve...mate...? :P

The inks in this case were done by Alexandre who worked from a *REALLY* crappy and dirty high res scan which I acquired from someone who had clearly gotten the scan from the Marc Silvestri Sketchbook at some stage, and he did a superb job making out the smaller details. Far better than I would have expected. They're not as exact as the original inks which were done by Joe Weems but they're pretty darn close and from what he had to work with... Anyway. Alex needs more love and recognition than he's getting, so go check out his gallery-o-stuff on deviantart.

Next one will be completely original as it'll be a batman/batgirl by Marcio Abreu which I'm colouring for Tony Kordos who did the inks.
