Default Titans Together! at Dragon-Con

Some awesome images from Dragon-Con, courtesy of Richard Jackson’s Facebook page. Apparently, Dragon-Con is well-known for some serious cos-play. I loved seeing all these Titans in one place….

Love this line-up with George Pérez. That Terra with the cigarette kills me.

Titans Together!

All the ladies say, “We Are With You, Medulla!” Cos-play Blackfire, even.

Who Is Donna Troy? (it just writes itself, doesn't it?)

The Titans Villains Attack!

A bunch of dead Titans (just like the DCU)! Only George Pérez survives.

That's hilarious! Great costumes. Love that someone created a Blackfire costume and cigarette smoking Terra is priceless. And that's one scary looking Black Lantern Terra...

Now I'm somewhat disappointed that I didn't go. Since I live near Atlanta it wouldn't have been hard.

What I don't get though is the red and yellow Terra costume. Friends shouldn't let friends cosplay colorblind.

Wow. Nothings even close to this amazing, quality costume wise, ever happens in San Diego. I never realized how low SDCC's cosplay bar was until I saw Dragon Con photos.

Believe it or not, I LOVE COMICS!!! and it's only hard to tell because I know that they can be and SHOULD BE better.

Thanks! I was the BL Terra. I loved being a zombie. My husband told me I was scaring small children. The smoking Terra was really, really great. She did such a good job with the costume and the expressions in the photos. I was very impressed with her. The Blackfire was absolutely stunning in person.

The shoot was sponsored by the Superhero Costuming Forum (the SCF), of which I am a proud member. They are a great group of people. They work very, very hard on their costumes and spend lots of time bringing characters to life.

There was a big Lantern shoot as well the day before. At that one, I had a different makeup job that was even scarier than this... they had brought in a professional makeup artist to do the makeup for that shoot, and the Black Lanterns really rocked the house. I was very happy with the job they did. I'm also proud of the makeup job that you see here already. We had to do it ourselves, and it was our first makeup job, but I think we did a fairly good job. My husband took many pictures. Once I get some uploaded, I can link them here if you like.

Thanks-- I will pass that on to the hubs, since he worked very hard on making me zombie out. It's amazing you can learn from you-tube and a Ben Nye Death Wheel and Bruise Wheel.

AAAARG!!! I was all dressed up as Raven and everything and I had no idea this was happening... :'( oh well. Next year....
Props to Miss Martin and BB for doing the full body green skin, really epic.
I really love all the minor characters that people remembered to do, out side of the normal Robins and Wonder Girls there were some members I was really glad to see (not that there's anything wrong with either of them, I just saw a lot of them, that's all)
Anyways, I'll try to be there next year, where was it?

Thanks.. I've been chained to a sewing machine, making that costume

Are you ready for something really scary? Here is a closeup of the makeup done at the Lantern photo shoot the day before... this is the makeup job done by some Atlanta professionals. As soon as I get their web site URL, I'll post it here so you can see their other work. They did most of the BL makeup for this shoot, and they were AWESOME.

Here is a "before" shot, to give you an idea of how much work they did:

Pawpels: You would have been very welcome. It was at the Suntrust plaza, but it stands the chance of being in a different place every year. Next year, month before the con or so, message me, and I'll fill you in.
