Default Batman: Unseen #1

Did anybody else pick this up? I thought i was a very enjoyable first issue from the team of Moench and Jones.

Not a whole lot of Batman in this issue as it mainly introduces the "Invisible Man" but I thought it was a good start. Looking forward to the rest of the mini.

I thought about picking it up, but having just read Gotham After Midnight, I prefer Jones' art in trade form, uninterrupted by ads.

Hopefully it'll be out by mid-2010.

I will absolutely buy anything by Kelley Jones, except when Steve Niles writes it. So I absolutely bought "Unseen" for the pure joy of un-Niles'd Kelley Jones Batman flavor.

What's with the Steve Niles hate? Gotham After Midnight was a fun little romp.

Flipped through it, but the art put me off so I didn't grab it

I bought it more for Kelley Jones, but ultimately the book could have been better served by being 5, 6 or 8 issues at most.

Not terrible, but not the best-Bat story I have ever read.

Is there an all-ages (not kids books, but true all-ages access) book in the new 52 line-up?

If not DC, then why not?
