I don't have any idea where the existing bat characters will all end up, but there could be even more characters vying for the mantle than just the ones we already know of (whether they're obscure characters from past stories, like say for example, The Wrath, semi recognizable characters, like say Jean Paul Valley, or brand spankin' new characters all together)

This is sort of why I'm intrigued by all of this.

What does this happen to do with the Bat-family you ask?

The back of the book where Dandy speaks in Riddles giving us hints as to what is coming?

"The Owl and the Butler are one in the same"

A clue perhaps that Owlman is actually Alfred?

I'm thinking that it could mean Owlman is a doppelganger of Alfred or maybe a relative?

It really doesn't bother me. I always thought that it was a week for comics. It isn't something I am going to lose sleep over. I didn't see the spoiler tag on the outside when I was flipping through the threads.

I'm guessing it'll be a trick. Owlman will supposedly be someone Bruce knows who's a great detective. Awesome Alfred may be he was never a detective to my knowledge. I'm leaning that it might be Riddler.

I think Jason Todd won't be Owlman. Sounds kinda ridiculous for a dude that's perpetually p@#$ed.

However.... I do have a suspicion on a great detective for Owlman. Just throwin it out there.

I like that team too but the dynamic between Batman's first adopted son and his actual son should be really great. Then again I don't see Dick putting up with any of Damian's crap whereas Jason would let him run wild (mostly). As I've said before the closest comparison to a Jason and Damian Dynamic Duo is ASBAR. I love ASBAR but I don't need another title like that. For that reason alone I want Dick as Batman.

Dick and Alfred are heading up the Outsiders. Bruce is off the radar. Cassandra is now Bruce's adopted daughter. ( what a dysfunctional family ) Tim is now Red Robin. Jason Todd..maybe the Owlman. Damian is going to be Robin. To quote Arte Johnson...... Verrrrry interesting.

My thoughts were a little different...

-Dick becomes Batman.
-Jason Todd becomes Red Robin.
-Tim remains Robin.
-Alfred heads the Outsiders.
-Not sure about Cassie. I would figure she'd work with Alfred on Outsiders but no mention of her so far. Maybe she takes over Wayne Enterprises as Bruce's adopted daughter?
-Thomas Elliot will impersonate Bruce Wayne and Damien will go along with it either willingly or unwillingly.
-Barbara as Oracle will "cyber-up" as Batgirl for limited periods of time. (A long shot I know, I'm just going off of what DiDio said about, "More Barbara Gordon Batgirl being a good thing."
-Batwoman will investigate Bruce's disappearance.
