Azreal is coming back? Maybe

So yeah Booster Gold 1,000,000 came out this week, one of the things written on the board this time was that "Azreal comes and goes". So that strongly suggest Az is coming back, if it's Jeal Paul or not who knows, could only be a cameo in a future issue but for all those wishing he'd come back in his original Az costume and more it gives a bit of hope.

There have been hints of a return of Azrael and/or Jean Paul.

I'm guessing it will happen in Manhunter since sub-plots in that book featuring the 1980s Manhunter, Mark Shaw, point towards him taking on the mantle of Azreal (a very similar costume was offered to him last year).

No further info has appeared in Manhunter since the book returned last month though.

Now what if we got an Azrael mini with Mark Shaw and Jean Paul? Maybe get Marc Andreyko to write it?

Now one thing I've noticed is the previous board said "Jean Paul Valley Lives!" not Jean Paul Valley the Angel of Vengeance Lives! Or somesuch. Which leads me to believe JPV will return but not as Azrael. Especially since he said in his last issue he'd never wear the costume again.

But this likely could lead to Jean passing the costume onto Mark Shaw as the St. Dumas people have. It would be interesting to have JPV as a mentor of sorts to Mark on the role of being Azrael.

I'd love to see Jean Paul Valley come back and be a mentor to Mark Shaw, those two are some of my favorite characters, and as long as one of them becomes Azrael is good for me.

I can't wait for the arc in Manhunter or an Azrael Mini.
